Hi guys, I'm a doctor practicing in MA and suffer from moderate to severe chronic back pain. I was wondering if anyone in the community knows if I can get a med mari card for myself. Being a doctor I feel its awkward asking other doctors if I could get a prescription as it is generally looked down upon in the medical community. I know there are a high (pun intended) number of doctors that use weed but I don't know of any personally. I would really appreciate any answers you all could give me. Thanks.
That is a question best addressed to the licensing entity in your State...they may already have issued an advisory Opinion on the subject since I am sure you are not the first to pose the question. Look also to advisory Opinions in other jurisdictions where cards are available...
