This is a journal of my first attempt at indoor growing, I received a clone of strawberry sour diesel from a local dispensary on Sept 1st, 2015. I then vegged it for 4 weeks under an Apollo Horticulture 185w LED and 2 additional large CFL bulbs. I set her into flower on the 1st of October and also scrogged her out. I have her in a 2.5g pot with Foxfarms Ocean Forrest Soil using Earth Juice nutrients along with bat guano, fish meal and unsulfered molasses.
I know it has been a while since i last posted...but real life is a bitch sometimes and it can take up a lot of time. Anyways, I am currently at day 21 of flower and everything is on cruise control pretty much. I am currently using Earth Juice nutrients. I am running about 4ml/usGal of the Bloom, 1.75 ml/usGal of Catalyst, 2.25ml/usGal of Meta-K, 1.5ml/usGal of Molasses and 1ml/usGal of Bat/Fish Guano. The frost is really starting to show on her now. Even the fan leaves are beginning to get covered with trichomes and the smell coming off of her is very sweet with a hint of fuel in the undernotes. These photos are from Day 14-20 of flower...Nice hair and calyx development...smell is not too strong except one morning it did have a very strong smell of shit, but I think that was cuz I fed it late in the day the afternoon before and it just exhaled/expelled that odor over night, cuz shortly after the lights came on and I didn't notice the smell anymore and it has not since ever come back. Otherwise, all is healthy, green and happy!!
Here we have photos from today and yesterday, that would be days 21 and 22 of flower respectively. I have really noticed that the frost is coming on pretty heavy. It is covering the buds and bud leaves and even getting out onto the smaller fan leaves and what not around the buds. The buds themselves are really starting to get more dense and the hairs are everywhere. I am super please with this plants growth and progress so far. It is really taken to the topping and scrogging. She is a nice little bowl shape with great light penetration to almost all of the bud sites. i am currently feeding her every 2 to 3 days at a half gallon per feeding .
I just use the CFL when I need to look the plant over or take photos...otherwise they are my main source of lights for clones and seedlings...I am very short on space so everything is all over my house
