This is my second grow! So help and advice are really appreciated! My goal is to produce a personal amount of bud to hold me between grows. I have worked a long time on this grow cabinet, but its now finished and running! Cabinet size: 40cm x 80cm x 120cm ( 16" x 31" x 47") Seeds: 2 Frosty Kush (Green label seeds), 2 unknown bagseeds and 1 Diesel Automatic autoflower (Royal Queen Seeds). Lights: 1 x 125W CFL 2700K and 4 x 23W CFL both 2700K/6500K Lightcycle: 18/6 for veg and 12/12 for flower Soil: Light soil, very low in nutrients Nutrients: Biobizz indoor set, It contains bio-bloom, bio-grow and top-max. also bought Biobizz root juice to kick the roots a nice start Ventilation: 125mm 2400RPM fan (185M3) with a carbon filter. I started them all in solo cups but they became happy so I transplanted all of them except 1 bagseed. Almost all plants are already 4 tot 6 weeks old, but they are still small because I did a lot of topping to them to create a mainlining/ 4-way LST result. The autoflower is now germinatring, and when she will start flowering I'm gonna switch the whole cabinet to flower. Any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
Great job with the lst, great looking plant(s)! I tried some lost and topping went ok but not right lol. Still training even though! Made myself a cabinet and started end of Aug. creating my journal now hope you can swing by!
I reorganized the cabinet today so all plants get a little bit more light. The Sour Diesel (autoflower) sprouted, so now I can switch to flower whenever I want (all other plants are non-autos). Also gave them a nice feeding today. It looked like 1 plant got too much feeding because she got burned leaf tips, while another plant was turning yellow (because of too less feeding?)... I don't know exactly.... We will see
Does someone know whats going on? At first I thought she had a nitrogen deficiency because of her yellow color so I gave her a strong feeding. But I also noticed some burned leaf tips... So is this nute burn, nitrogen deficiency or something else? (First picture is the 2 Frosty Kush together, the left one is the sick one).
Might be a slight nitro def judging by the light color and maybe the feed was too strong. Its not bad though, they look good to me.
Subbed in. If you start seeing things go downhill with that plant having the burnt tips, I'd suggest a transplant into a fresh soil, instead of the typical run is the mill flush or ph up/ph down. Don't do anything drastic for now, seems pretty good right now. I try not to stress color changes until I see the plant making a turn for the bad.
Some beautiful training in here! Nice job dude //static.grscty.com//public/style_emoticons/default/smoking.gif
Weedle! Nice set-up! Great looking plants too. How's the plant in the last pic doing? It looks to me like there was some nute lock out happening & definitely N def. Hope she's better. I am so glad you're back! Hope all is well ☺
Hey Weedle, I'm subbed up - I didn't realize you started a new thread! Regarding that plant with the pale green leaves and burnt tips, I tend to agree with Tenshuu, but I am still learning, so not 100% sure.
Subbed in here bro. Didn't realize you started up a new thread. They look a little hungry but nothing too drastic, I agree with Ten, just keep on and I'm sure they'll pick up, just keep an eye on those tips Sent from my Spaceship using the Grasscity App. http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1348058-DaS-Perpetual-Stealth-Cabs-Grow-Chronicles
I'm giving defoliation a try in veg as well as flowering this round; lackluster results from all earlier efforts give desperate hope to this strategy. BTW my veg is 90 watt LED on 18/6 over lapped by a combined 86 watts of mixed spectra CFL and LED running 6 on 6 off so the system is 24/0.
I have been doing a bit of defoliation too. Being very careful though. Some experienced growers warn against pruning more than 10% of your fan leaves in a session as you could stunt the plant. So I'm only taking leaves that are either blocking light from growth tips, starting to yellow, or are down at the very bottom of the plant. Fingers crossed, but so far, so good!
I'm just zapped back to earth, so its time for a update Week 4 of flower is starting now (except the autoflower), from left to right: - Random bagseed in solo cup, behind the autoflower in first picture - Diesel automatic (RQS) autoflower (heavily LSTed because why not ) - Random bagseed 4-way LST with 4 main tops - Frosty Kush 4-way LST with 8 main tops
Well!! 'Bout time! Somebody has been tending to them...good thing, lol. Really though, they look great!! And, of course, welcome back
