Was USMC. Came out and do I dare say it on this forum? I went through the police academy. I decided to let the career go after the academy because it wasn't what I thought it was. I'm 22 years old and have so much fcking anxiety it's ridiculous. Taking ambien and a bunch of other shit that i don't like. I can't seem to adjust back. I'm going to community college getting ready to transfer next year. Engineering major so I'm always busy studying. I just don't know how I'd react smoking up again. Should I take baby steps into it maybe like once a week or so before bed? I'm really uptight and I'm told I make people nervous. I just want to relax and have chill vibes again.

BTW if you guys have any questions about my experience Law Enforcement or Military.. feel free to ask.

  2. Try a few hits whenever you have a few hours with no commitments. Maybe later in the day?

Definitly start it slow though before you know how it'll interact with your anxiety.

  3. Baby steps. Get a piece and pack a small, emphasize small, bowl and take a few hits. Give it 15 minutes and if you feel nothing smoke more. Just my thoughts though, there's definitely more experienced people on here who would answer it better. Don't smoke while on the other prescriptions though, it could fuck you up badly.

  4. A vaporizer would be your best bet. Start at low temps and you should be able to Guage how it effects you.

  5. Your mind needs to calm. Stop thinking about what you can put in your body to calm you down. Your body can do some incredible things with some meditation and physical exercise.

Unless your point is to just mask these feelings, instead of getting to the root of them

  6. If you made it through Parris Island you'll be find with smoking bud. As long as you take it slow I guess.

  7. My advice would be to get off the Rx drugs...try to sort yourself out without any mind altering drugs, weed included.

  8. its weed man just roll a joint and smoke it

  9. Why did you end up leaving the academy

  10. I would also like to know why u left the academy

Good thing you didn't go through with the police career, you'll live a better life.
If i wasn't honest about my pot smoking, i could've joined the marines. I had only been smoking for 6 months at the time and they "did the math" and said I smoked 90 times and they couldn't waiver that LMAO it was right then and there I said this is fucking stupid. And then I became a "somewhat" peaceful pot smoking connoisseur.
Buy a cheap glass pipe and a dimebag, start off with a few hits and you'll be great!

  12. I left after the academy because I realize I had too many issues and it wasn't what I thought it would be.

Start small was on probation for a year and a half my tolerence was so low 2 hits had me freaking out (if you already have anxiety problems as I do) take a small hit wait about 10 minutes then if need be take another small one. DONT go big bad idea with anxiety issues

As other have said tho try an get off all mind altering drugs cause weed only masks the problem for this reason I can't smoke anymore weed turned its teeth on me because I masked my issues so long just hellish to smoke even a hit right now :/.

    Thanks for your service sir

Well I was going to work for LA so I knew there would be some action. I'm just prone to depression man. Not a good mix to be in that business with depression and anxiety. I made it in the Marine Corps but I wasn't a good fit. Just toughed it through.

  16. You should try solving your anxiety.

By smoking weed instead of working through why you have anxiety you will be just masking the symptoms. Which would be the same as taking other medications.

Seek therapy, try meditation, or talk with someone your close to. These will all help with anxiety. Due to the nature of your anxiety (war/ ptsd I assume) this is a type that usually doesn't go away on its own. Especially just by smoking weed and doing nothing about it. Although weed may help with suppressing the symptoms.

Like others said take baby hits and only one. Wait and see the effects. You'll be high a fuck.

  17. I feel it have you thought of a career in the marines?

  18. No definitely not. I'm ready to relax and live a normal life

  19. You could always move to Tibet and become a monk
