Feeling Disconnection

  1. Do you ever feel, not while high or really relating to marijuana, disconnected from reality for maybe a few seconds? Ever once in awhile, I'll be sitting on my couch or resting with my eyes closed, and all the sudden I'll feel like I'm not in my body, my conscious or anything. I'll just get this sense of great nothingness like I'm not there for a few seconds. Idk if this is spiritual or just something that happens to everyone. any one else ever get this feeling?

  2. commonly referred to as an "out of body experience"

when like you daydream yourself into a daydream. yeh, i get that feeling sometimes.

  3. its almost like playing a video game, you see and hear everything thats going on but its like you're not actually there

  4. Yes very common it would happen to me constantly in jr high sometimes and then id had a panic attack and it would scare the bajesus out of me

  5. It's called depersonalization/derealization disorder. Some people have it permanently, but I merely get it when I'm really high.

  6. Observing the observer.

  7. Well then with the addition of today's technology of camera-enabled phones, laptops, and other smart devices... could "unplugging" yourself from the internet give you this same feeling of disconnection?

Say you had an iPhone for like 4 years and then all of a sudden you don't have it any more. Do you get some kind of odd feeling that you are being left out of the bigger picture?
