Finishing techniques post harvest

  1. Hey crew I need some experienced advice on flower finishing. The situation a little complicated so I will outline the details.
I have a couple foot tall plants outside in week 6 of flower.
The weather is supposed to be terribly rainy and cool for the next week. No sun in the forecast.

My plan is to cut these plants and finish them indoors. I have a secret cab with some plants under 12:12, but the lights go on at night and off during the day.
I was thinking I could cut the main stem of the outdoors and put them in cups of water in complete darkness for 24 hours and then throw them into the grow cab at 12:12 with my other plants so they have a chance to finish. Thoughts?
    Will this work?
Obviously not optimal conditions but the weather is not going to benefit them anyway for the next week. Chances are I will do it anyway, but I was hoping someone could share some logic on the effectiveness of this plant.

  2. I don't get the logic of cutting and putting in a cup of water. I think that might stress to the point of seeding out. At a foot tall I don't think it is going to make you rich after just one week. If they don't wilt during this process

You will have a few dead plants in a cup of water. If you cut them don't bother exposing them to your lamp, will just make it worse.
I would leave them and deal with the results. This is a pretty strong plant. You still have a chance to harvest mature bud.

  4. I cut my males from the grow room and place them in a distant bubbler, to keep them up and running until the pollen shows, you can do similar, just get an air pump, or look thru Rumple^^^ posts on his bubbler ..lol
