C'mon now, it's nothing new that every TV show releases a new season in an annual cycle. TPB Season 9 came out in early 2015.
Yeah but they have 10-13 episodes every season and they're all 20 minutes except the last one is a little longer typically. So that really shouldn't be that much time to make each episode, now I don't know anything about television business but that's what I assume. They should be pumping out at least 2 seasons per year.
It's a TV thing. They finished shooting Season 10 a few months ago, but there's a lot of post-processing (such as voice-overs) and paperwork after that. The boys have been really busy throughout the entire year, gotta hand it to them.
It takes twelve days to do one episode then they take a week or so break, ten they do it over again, make my words.
