Lucky weed growth?

  1. 100+ actual watts of cfl per plant. Actual not equivalent.
    2700k CFLs for flowering

  2. You can never have enough light especially if your battling cold temps. Cfls aren't very effective past 3"

  3. Well, it's been working great so far. Thanks for the advice, I will be changing my lighting today.

I have the bulbs around 10" away. The lamp shade with inverted sockets are lines will tin foil.

I've read that the mountain weed is very robust and can handle the low temps and lack of watering. My soil is generally very dry.

This is a more or less an overhead shot. The light intensity is probably a little brighter

  4. 10" is quite aways away. Not that it won't work but you will get a better yeild if you get them closer. Light intensity is important during flower to maximise your plant. Light intensity will in part decide how big and dense your buds are You're plant looks really good for how its been grown.

This is the lighting set up, which I have changed and will update with a pic soon as I can.

exactly 10-55 cm away. I like it:) inspires me to tie two up and put multi connector with two 60watt cfls in them. Right now I only have a bendable 60v lamp. Though, I am going to only use two because I am growing my first plant. Nice progression. Keep it up. What's the thermal light temp. change?

  7. Temperature is a balmy 20 degrees Celsius. I have placed the lighting closer and this is the new setup.

So since I last posted. I have a bit more growth and the temp has evened out. The humidity is what it is and I'll address that in the second grow season. I don't have a loupe so I'm making an amateur guesstimate of two weeks. I've begun flushing.
    Thoughts welcome.
