"Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?" Exodus 4:11

"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Isaiah 45:7

"Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. As people moved eastward they said to each other, “Come, let's make bricks and bake them thoroughly... let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves, otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.”

But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower the people were building. The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.

So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. That is why it was called Babel because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth. Genesis 11:1-9: "

    Who is this guy?

  2. Nobody. There is no evidence of the existence of any invisible man in the sky.

  3. Next you're gonna tell us there's no Santa, Easter bunny, or tooth fairy......[IMG]

  4. Well of course Santa exists!

  5. More proof -

  6. More evidence that he actually DOES exist:

  7. i dunno honestly...

that guy on the left has the tiniest penis. poor widdle guy...

who said he was invisible and who said he was in the sky?

  8. That's what people believe. And he must be invisible because I've never seen him and I've been around a long time.

  9. Well going by that scripture he is a tester.

  10. it is? which people? i don't know anyone who believes in that.

sounds foolish to me thinking something is invisible because you cant find it. do you say that about your keys or your car when you cant find them? "shit, car must be invisible again because i don't see it where i remember leaving it." or maybe your wallet when it turns up missing? "damn wallet is at it again, turning invisible on me." not following you here. you sound as if you get your logic from the same store those bible thumpers get theirs from lol.

maybe god doesn't want to be found by you? that is probably what you should be focusing on because i know lots of people who simple ask for god and there god is. no looking involved.

  11. When I turned 30 I started looking. Nothing. By the time I got into my 40s, still nothing. I am now 65 and the whole god idea seems less and less plausible with every passing decade.

Mainly, because there is zero evidence for it.

  12. Zero Faith too?

Faith in selfless Unity for Good.

  13. Faith that the sun will rise in the morning? Yes.

Faith that death is final? Yes.

Faith that there is a big invisible man that lives in the sky? Sorry, no.

  14. Second statement is false and probably leading you to you're third conclusion which is a misrepresentation.

Please show me in any scripture where God is portrayed as a floating father figure. Thanks in advance.

Faith in selfless Unity for Good.

  15. Faith isn't true or false, kiddo.

Scripture? A bunch of fairy tales passed down through the ages? [IMG]

  16. Guess wise and elderly aren't synonymous after all. Good luck.

Faith in selfless Unity for Good.

  17. To the blind and/or un-enlightened, here is the source of "the big invisible man in the sky" thing:

  18. God said it. I believe it....that settles it............

  19. something tells me it wasn't exactly "looking" for god that you spent all that time doing. but go ahead and call it what you like. with that said, spending that much time doing anything and getting the same results each time is my understanding of insanity. actually i read that somewhere and it makes sense to me so i use it, plagiarism not withstanding lol. i just dont understand why you went on with it for all that time. i am pretty sure you got the exact same answer now that you did back then. all those years were moot and unnecessary.

i feel like god bashers are the same crazy as bible thumpers they just took it into a different direction. like instead of seeing god in every last thing imaginable, they chose instead the complete opposite and chose to disbelieve in god to the point of needing to validate it for themselves to such a degree they go on with that diatribe that they hold as close as a bible thumper holds onto god. as far as i am concerned go ahead and believe in anything you like. it is after all your life. i just find it a bit humorous that the kettle calls the pot black.

believe what you want man, but know this, that line of thinking and the way you let it tear up your guts leads to hemorrhoids.
