Iraq War - Pure Vengeance?

  1. There are many theories behind the Iraq war. Everything from WMD's, oil, preventing Iraq from cutting ties with the American currency

But what if it was fueled by simple vengeance?

A lot of people joined the war to "kill some Muslim scum" in retaliation for the WTC attacks. So what makes anyone think that the administration in charge had a different mindset?

And of course when the dust settled and everyone regained their cool it was like "oh well now this mess is our responsibility"

  2. Personally I think it was nothing more than Saddam biting the hand that feeds him - the rothschilds etx. He was put there to sell us cheap oil, instead he decided to do what we do - meddle in others foreign affairs and tried to project iraqi power beyond its own borders.

Every war since the napolionic wars has been funded by the rothschilds. It makes them money

the answer to your questions is therefore obvious.

  3. Let's not forget the bank that Cheney and his corporate cronies made from giving Halliburton massive contracts.

  4. Surely Alexander of Macedonia influenced Napoleon more than... the Rothschilds

  5. I think one of the primary goals of the invasion was setting up all the military bases.

Didn't we build one in Iraq bigger than Vatican City? lol

  6. They funded the Brits not the French...

  7. Because according to Bush's Treasury Secretary the administration had every intention of invading Iraq from day 1. Sadaam had nothing to do with 9/11, and was an enemy of religious extremist types that attacked the US. The administration certainly knew this, which is why they had to lie to get the war.

Afghanistan would have been the war for 9/11 vengeance.

  8. did not know tht

  9. I think this is spot on

We invaded Iraq because control over the middle east equals control over the world economy

  10. Someone needed a slap after 9/11.
Couldn't hit saudi and afghanastan was deemed a shit hole.

So therefore iraq was the target. Also it was the largest theft of a countries assets in modern days.

I think it was shocking! But then 9/11 was trully horrendous it was inevitable there was going to be consequences.

No matter how you look@it or try to spin it. The people who suffered were the innocent and its been like that since year dot.

Men wage war the normal bloke fights it and the innocent suffer!
The spoils go to the least deserving and the ones who sacrificed nothing!
Aint gonna change anytime soon lads!

  11. And (most likely) embezzling money from the trillions lost at the Pentagon during fiscal year 2001 (not to mention any plausible ties to insider trading).

  12. Even before that. The PNAC started campaigning for his removal in Jan 1998.

  13. Afghanistan was always the vengeance war. Iraq was GWB cleaning up what his father had started under the guise of WMDs. Now the WMDs had us MERICANS scared because the muslims were the bad guys. Thankfully for the administration our geography skills suck balls and when you have people attacking sihks(who aren't muslim) it ain't hard to draw them into a war over oil. Sadam bit the hand that fed him(like previous users said) and GWB wiped his hands clean of Sadam. Sadam's mistake was that he didn't take this serious when he should of been kissing our boots, he killed one of his advisors who even noted a possible american invasion. he fucked himself.

  14. From the outside perspective it looked fishy as fuck

I remember all the headscratching going on in Denmark where I lived at the time

The grave expression on my stepdads face when we watched tanks rolling through the desert with an embedded American journalist eagerly shouting "These guys are going to kick some serious ass!" on the news

Forgetting for a moment the more important facts, it felt very wrong

  15. Didn't really know where to post this but thought this might be the right place. A student named Mohammed was arrested for bringing a homemade clock to school that police mistook to be a bomb. They apparently interrogated him and told him that his parents couldn't be present until after the interrogation, which seems illegal considering he's only 14 years old. This story is a perfect example of how Xenophobic some Americans can be. They say they would have treated the situation the same way if he was white, but I'm a little dubious of that claim. Here's an article from the Washington Post about it. http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2015/09/16/they-thought-it-was-a-bomb-ahmed-mohamed-texas-9th-grader-arrested-after-bringing-a-home-built-clock-to-school/

  16. Because you can create another pro-US satellite state like Israel, put more pressure on Iran, support Saudi Arabia, geographical and economic control, etc etc. Ya know, the usual.

  17. US taxpayers foot the bill for the Iraq war, and China gets the oil...

I remember back in 2001 most people thought Iraq equaled Al quada. I also remember hearing on the radio that we should have all of our windows sealed with plastic to prevent a gas attack on our home, and to stock up on gas masks.

I do rember that people went out and bought brand new SUV's simply because of the attack. There is still one of the brochures in my parents house.
