Hey guys I figured i would make a journal since im having alot of issues anyways this is my first dwc. I am new grower i havnt even got a harvest yet still a month away . my setup 8x 26 watt cfl for veg 600 watt hps for flower 5 galon dwc two bubblers going to add three soon res temps stay about 70-75 outside res pretty hot today 90ish this is a clone about two weeks old. My ppm is running about 500 I tgink its to high? 15 ml grow 10 ml micro 5 ml bloom and about 15 ml cal mag in about 4 galons. I see nute burn im pretty sure but also im think tgere mag def. Anyways heres the pics any input welcome il repost updates every week thanks guys . Also im making a scrog for it how big should I make the holes? I was thinking 2 inch dia but now its done looks like they are a bit small The frame is 2 feet by two feet. Some pics of my gal nute burn. Mag or cal def? rust spots forming today? Correction shes three weeks old heres a pic from last week beside her sister that was cut same time and same size!
Why did you add Cal mag at this point? If your plants were fine with your solution then all the sudden you got burn your ph probably tappered way up or down. Your last picture imo the left one is has been too hot and the right one has been over watered. Idk if you were saying that your room is 90ish but that's too much. You can have veg plants in 90ish Temps if you keep your r/h high enough your light is far enough away and your ppm stays low. Trust me without co2 anything 85+ will probably do more bad then good.
Thabks for the reply anyways I added the calmag because the lower leaves look like cal def? That all I see because it didnt start at the tips and I have a fan on them now and they get plenty of outside air im doing a res change ronight il post pics tomorrow
Hey bro sorry got busy with stuff forgot :/ anyways like I said I was busy so I didnt get to res change but I diluted it got ppm down to 200 negelcting abit but I think its lookin good im now seeing any new signs of burning (I think) got the temp down to 75-80 she was on a 24 light cycle for her whole life just yesterday started 18-6 lol couldnt figure out my timer for a bit. Ph stays between 5.8-6.3 norhing much else new just topped her for second time
Just tied her down the bottom is a separate clone but my favorite I thibk still in a solo cup and has 8 tops

all I have atm is gh flora series 3 part I have grotek kickstart but its same shit as floragrow (wasted money) and calmag thats it And I used honey when I cut them as clones
If you can afford it, hydroguard and SilicaBlast are great products, roots are the heart of any grow, these products really do work. Also you should dilute a pinch of epsoms salt and add it to your mixture, it helps the plant take up nutrients.
hey guys just wanted to do a quick update: my ph drops down from 6.3 to 4.2 everyday is this normal? I thought the ph jumps up mostly not down. But other then that I got the ppm up to 140 last night now its sitting at 100 so guess she needs a bit more nutes heres some pics of her and her tops that are coming nicely the last pic is her mom
Hey man it's all looking good, as for ph for me it always seems to go down after I add food and up when I top off with water. Although I've had success with general hydroponics 3 part for years without ever checking the ph or ppm and have recently started checking everything religiously and seen very little ph flux with that nutrient line maybe it's something else your adding. I personally try to raise my ph with my regular water and lower ph down every few days as it floats up after a feeding. The fluctuations don't seem to be a big deal for me as long as it's kept in check. I check the ppm and ph two three times daily. I have however changed to a Lucas based formula which seems to really relay of me keeping a keen eye on the ph.
yeah its weird mabe its because it doesnt have enough food anyways I would like to switch to a better hydropoics nute line just low on the cash mabe next payday
Keep what you are using until it's gone there is a lot of bull squat out there aimed at taking your money with false promises. General hydroponics flora series was my back bone for years unfortunately my hydro store stopped selling it because it's basically not geared towards marijuana and the salts build up so I picked up maxibloom from Amazon for 15$ with the hopes of really pinching my pennies and let me tell you wow. 15$ is going to be about a year of nutrients for me considering flora was 40$ I'm already wining and I have had success across the board. The house plants love it, the clones love it, veg n bloom you name it and it's a simple as 7 grams of powder per gallon for every stage aka Lucas.
