Not getting high anymore?

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by Rollthem435, Sep 10, 2015.

  1. I've just come to add to the thousands of threads about people not getting high, but I just took a 2 week break from my hash smoking habits, and I'm not getting high at all when I smoke. Like, this little faint mist of higness that isn't strong enough to do anything. It's kind of pissing me off [IMG] Especially because it's hash, and after 2 weeks of not smoking... Thoughts?

  2. I think I need a longer t break than a couple of weeks. Haven't done that in a long time though. Mate, I think you probably just kept your high tolerance.

  3. How about flowers?

Are they getting you buzzed bro?

  4. I smoke hash exclusively, as weed is very expensive in comparison 'round here. Maybe I'll try a one month T break, but what's quizzing me is that it seems like my tolerance went up [IMG]

  5. bro try smoking regular bud, perhaps your hash got weaker if thats not it definatly T-break. Oh also sum antidepressents can greatly weaken ur high

  6. Damn thats sad news brother if I break for a day its all good :) but that never happens so my peak is the wake n bake

  7. I read somewhere higher magnesium levels in your body give you a better high (not sure how true it is)

  8. I find hash/dabs and flowers have there own tolerances. I've been smoking fire dabs for 3 months and then got some mids and they got my blazed.

I never understood this. I've been smoking daily for 11 years...by daily I mean usually 5-6 bowls a day. I can smoke a 1 hitter and get stoned...

My honest observation to smoking has always been, to use less weed, rather than more. I could smoke a 2 gram blunt and feel less stoned than if I had smoked 1 hit from a 1 hitter....sounds insane, but go back to basics man...

My 'science' behind it is that your brain has gotten too used to the effect of so much weed..(tolerence) but when you smoke such a small amount it activates your receptors in a different way...not so overloaded, or simply different than the norm. Similarly, by choosing different experiences or doing different things while stoned can also make a huge difference. If you smoke a ton and sit at the computer day after day, your body knows no different, so it gets used to it all...when you switch up your routine, everything is new and makes the high come on more than you would normally notice it....

thats just my .10 cents and 11 yrs.

  10. I agree with flashlight ! I always try to smoke as little as I need to get by. I'm about to take a T break too good luck try doing a few snaps(with flower)and see if that helps

  11. Second agree with fleshlight.

  12. Sounds like you are chasing a high that isn't obtainable and anything other than that new smoker high seems like nothing to you. Your getting high it just isn't the kick you in the ass high you really want and it will never be again.

  13. well i've been toking for a while and every tolerance break i have taken (2 weeks max) i get SUPER RIPPED when i finally get my bong in action.

Like one rip gets me baked at that point.

how much do you weigh? you might have a slower metabolism, so take a month off next time.
