Hi all, thanks for dropping in to gander at my quest to getting a first harvest. I'm almost two weeks into my grow and my tent is in a super confined area but this is the set up so far...

    -Gorilla grow tent 3x3x7,8?

    -Gs-3 growstone coco coir mix

-starting with 2 bag seed until I get one harvest at least

-1 hurricane 6 inch fan for exhaust hooked up to ducting to an upper vent hole to circulate air.

-1 old school Vicks cool mist humidifier.

-1 cheap 20 inch box fan

    -vega matrix sample nute kit

-hydro Galaxy 270w led full spectrum "ufo style"

    * does any body know about this light? It was only like $100 and seems decent. I just know other brands charge $400 for the same power. So does this one actually use the same power as other LED lights? I have heard nothing bad, only good about the brand but all of their lights are dirt cheap compared to the big name company's.

-temps tend to get as high as 85(90s the first couple days due to lack of intake) and as low as 75 at night. Definitely averages around 80 for most of the day.

I need help figuring out why my seedlings seem stunted.

I have the hurricane inline air fan constantly blowing air from my tent in my walk-in closet into my room. two vents of the same diameter of the ducting on the exhaust are left open for air flow into the tent( otherwise the tent sucks in waaaay too much). I have the 20$ Walmart fan slightly tilted to the plants and set medium mode. The humidifier runs on 30 min intervals on/off. Current veg state light/ night is 20/4.

At first sprout they seemed to do alright for a couple days. The seedlings both have always had the dark purple stems. Since then growth has slowed dramatically. First 12 days went without the humidifier and since the addition, growth had improved slightly. Also the cotyledon are yellow with brown tips. Isn't it early for that considering they are two weeks old? I got scared and fed with like 1/6 nutes and the plants shot up and it's been like 4 days since the nutes and nothing added yet. What should be my next steps to promoting s healthy life for my babies. Are they acting normal ?Also is my set up efficient and solid? I'm working on a hygrometer. Are ph strips good for soil check? I'm on a budget here. Is the air flow sufficient? Too much? What is a good light recommendation for LED To blast my 3x3 tent? IM NOT ASKING FOR ONE PERSON TO ANSWER ALL MY QUESTIONS. Unless you're that awesome! Curling leaf pic and dark green plant are before 1/6 nutes .the following pics are 4 days later w/o feeding again. 3. It's Gs-3 growstone coco coir. I'm afraid I have root rot now. What's the proper way to water this young? Spray bottle? Or completely saturating the whole pot with pouring a half a water bottles worth into the cup essentially dampening all the coco? Thank you for your help. I'm growing B/c I'm fed up with expensive shitty buds from AZ :)

  4. I use a spray bottle for about the first week

  5. I usually water them with Nutri boost( similar to superthrive ) and Rhizotonic . then let them dry out. Then once you have a good trot system showing . Then add a bit of nutes .

  8. Hey mate . I soak cubes and jiffy pots in Rhizotonic and nutriboost , spray clones and feed them with it once potted for first time, until they get some good roots going. Then I will start to give small amounts of nutes. Be very careful if you use superthrive , as it is so strong. 1/4 strength to start. Feel free to ask anything.

  9. So I have a humidifier inside my tent... When I turn on my exhaust It feels like it just sucks all the humidity up with it. I got major negative pressure, tho I heard that was a good thing. What do I do here? Fan speed controller? Open more vents?

You guys are very helpful so far!

  10. Thanks, I can find any information on whether the light is good quality or not though. It was only $100 that's why I'm skeptical. I guess we will see!

What made u switch to coco?

New seedling already looking better than the almost 2 week old ones...

  12. no speed control on exhaust ? Good negative pressure means a lot of co2 coming I'm which is good. What does the humidity get down to

  13. Hey dude,

i switched to Coco due to Soil taking way to long, and the yield also...

i seen good results with Coco and thought id convert,

i have 10 weeks and im trying my hardest to start 5 auto flowers from start to finish in this 10 week time frame,

hence why i need some advice and guidence along the way :)

Soil i got just over 6 oz from 6 autos in 12 weeks. start to finish.... so im thinking this 10 week window for coco start to finish is possible? ...
