6 weeks in flowering, branch will break

  1. a few days ago the filters straps malfunctioned and the filter slipped out landing between 2 girls. it didnt take anything off, but it hit the branch that is circled in white. its pretty big and i had to rig it so it stays up. if i decided to take this off instead of leaving it, what would be the downfall? its bagseed so i have no idea what it is. some trics are cloudy, most clear.

to leave the branch or chop it...that is the question ;)

  2. 6 weeks in..if it isn't broken and is just bent, I would support it and leave it

  3. i've got some garden tie wrap supporting it up. it isnt broken, but severely twisted. i looked today and most of the hairs have turned on the top and the trics are cloudy on top. the bottom part still has some white hairs, i think the top is ready'ish, but not the bottom. can you take just a top off or just leave it the hell alone?

  4. I would take the whole limb off if it were my plant but I don't really agree with a lot of peoples seriousness here. A lot of people would tell you to tie it up and leave it be till its ready for harvest. But as for myself I have smoked plenty of immature buds in my life, and imo/ime there's a nice high in my buds as soon as the ratio of trichs is 50/50 cloudy/clear. Ultimately you should decide for yourself if you would rather chop it off and learn what happens or leave it on and know what will happen.

  5. see that's my problem. I'm only use to smoking brick so I really don't know of what high I'm looking for. I've had quality shit from Colorado before, but I don't know what. I want. I'd like to take either the whole limb or some sample sites for testing the high at this point. But I also don't want to fuck it up and ruin a possible better yeild and way more potent. Looked all over the plant and I'd say 80 to 90 percent are cloudy. But there are still white pistils on the lower sites. Being a noob grower sucks ass sometimes :(

  6. Like I stated earlier, you just gotta take chances. There is no definitive answer. Yes cutting a limb off could herm your plant, but there are alot of things that could herm your plant. Seeing how far in you are I highly doubt it would herm after and if it does you most likely wont see any seeds in the 2-3 weeks you have left. I have cut limbs off in flow usually because I don't like the looks of em. I have had herms in the past but only on shitty bagseed. Good genetics will be stress tested to strengthen the line so it will be more difficult to herm on growers spending cash. Also though if it worries you in the slightest just leave her be. This should be a good experience for you if getting advice and following the rules to a T puts your soul at peace do so.

  7. well......i dont know if she's hermied. There is this...they are in places all over. Been picking for a week now. Maybe 15 in total. All just mushy. Haven't seen any seeds or balls yet. I've read that it could be false pods in a last ditch effort to save itself. Could be a herm. It is from shit mexibrick.

As far as advice and such goes...i do follow it. I've become obsessed with growing. Lol.

    here is that branch.
