Got about 6 oz out of 4 plants in 3 gallon pots under a Mars 2 900 watt. My first full grow. Is this an ok yield? Anything is better than nothing I realize, but Im wondering if its considered a decent amount. I know my second time may be better. They say practice makes perfect.. We shall see. My first try I got 12 oz's out of four ladies in 5 gallon pots with 1000 watts hps, but I'm kind of curious how much led lights yield.
well here's a little comparison for you, my ebay 600w (284w actual draw) with 5w diodes just produced 6oz bud with another 2.5oz trim/popcorn in a 2x4x5 tent. this was 3 plants in 3 gallon pots, topped and scrogged. so i'd say its pretty comparable, at this point with your setup all you can do is more extensive training before flower to COMPLETELY fill in your canopy... i've currently got 5 mainlined plants in felt pots mid-flower (3 gal pots, same 600w light) and also 12 identical clones in another 2x4 tent in a SoG, all in 1 gallon pots topped 1 time. so there's roughly 30 branches. (some of them decided to split 3 ways) i'll have results of that by mid november. just trying out all my options and everything ive read on here to get the best yield out of my limited space. first run was scrog, next is mainlined, then a sog.
