Solution for green algae on fabric pots

Hi, I have my plants in 10 gallon fabric pots.

Problem: there is thick green algae on the outside of the pots.
I don't like it.

Solution: I mixed 25% bleach with 75% water and sprayed on the right half of the affected area. Use the leaf as a marker where I stopped spraying.


Question: -it's obviously working- but do you think the plant or roots will be hurt by this treatment? Thanks

Alright well it worked. I sprayed all of them. No dead plants.
