Why I temporarily quit using GC forums..

  1. Hello all, I would just like to simply inform everyone of a tragedy that recently occurred in my neck of the woods.. It all started when I was on my way home from work one day, I had gotten home and checked on my beautiful outdoor plants as routine. Upon doing so, my father arrived home around the same time, looking frantic and anxious. I walked inside and he called me into the backroom of the house so we could speak privately away from my younger sister. He said that his dealer/grower and three others that grow as well, had been busted within a few days, and that they were likely all busted due to the same operation put in place by the ATF and DEA on our area by using thermal surveillance in helicopters. These dealers/growers lived rather close for comfort and he said that we may also be on this said list of growers and that it'd be in our best interest to pull and burn my plants.
So we did.. We stared at those girls burning as if we were looking at a corpse in a coffin.
I couldn't bring myself to check the forums after this, for I would just think about all my hard work going to waste and envy over yall's amazing grows.. So yeah, that's my sad, sad, oh so so sad story.. Sigh. Here's the two last pictures I took of my beauties.

  2. You could have potted it and brought it inside near a window? I doubt they could have identified a cannabis plant from a helicopter anyway as long as you're not selling so they follow you home. Personally I think it's unnecessary unless you didn't include something...anyway YES IT'S VERY SAD. What was she called? [IMG]

Not that unnecessary, they were all probably talking to each other and visiting each other. Seems really pointless if you're just growing for your own consumption to waste resources raiding someone like OP, but that is the asinine nature of federal cannabis laws.

  4. Better safe than sorry!

Good luck on your future endeavors.

  5. They certainly had reason for suspicion of illegal activities going on at the home and have been giving us trouble since we moved in.. But I didn't think so either, no choice unfortunately as it's my dad's property. I guess there's always next year?:/

  6. Just wondering what state you're in...don't reply if my question is too personal....

  7. ^^

    internet stalker.

  8. Ohio

  9. I'm in a rural area in Florida and years back local law enforcement with DEA assistance would do low level flyovers on a routine basis.

I guess when the new wore off and the fat ass deputies realized they were gonna be crawling through the undergrowth in 90+ degree temps it came to an end.

They're probably using high res satellite feeds now.....

  10. Did the feds ever come?

  11. You absolutely did the right thing. This is how you stay out of jail

  12. Not too sound like a dick but unless you had hundreds of those they werent going for you most likely. That plant would yield like an oz max. Better safe than sorry i guess but i really do think you overreacted

  13. Wasn't my decision, it was my fathers and i had no say really.. His property

  14. Who were talking to each other? And fair point if it's your dads property

  15. I feel your pain. Someone got attested for speeding a few days ago in my town. Had to scrap my car just to be safe.

  16. So, if it was your own home, would you have done the same things here, OP?

  17. Probably not, at most I would have just either used some more brush to hide the spot better or taken them indoors temporarily.

  18. I give you respect point for not doing that anyway, because you can always just grow again or move out, but if you went to prison that'd be the end of what you consider your life as you know it, bro.

  19. That sucks mate.

  20. OP, Did the Feds ever come knocking on your door?
