I've recently been thinking about picking up the saxophone. It's just something I've always wanted to do, but, I've been wondering if smoking weed will affect my performance. What do you guys think?
..jazz, sax, pot..oh ya...go for it! wish I had learned to play something, but I think I lack the skill..I can't even carry a tune on a kettle drum...
chances are the weed will clog your saxophone if you try to smoke out of it. inhaling and playing at the same will be hard... plus you'll need a lot of weed and and industry-grade lighter to pack one full saxophone bowl.
Depending how much you smoke, your lung capacity could be affected and inhibit your ability to play! But musicality wise, it will more than likely help you!
