  1. I bought a Galaxyhydro 300w for $120.00 They are $115 now
It's a Full Spectrum LED... I am getting VERY GOOD growth from it...
I'm going to buy another one to get cross lighting in my tent...
    I like it ...
    .
Here's a link for several TRIED / TESTED / LEDS

  2. Dang Idk if I can swing that

  3. Damn, that sucks bro. Sorry to hear that.

  4. So how can I grow outside next year? In between 44deg north and 45deg.

  5. Start prepping your soil now. Mulch the shit out of it and let it sit until next spring. Cover it with a plastic tarp for the whole winter. After your last freeze plant your hardened off starts in the soil you prepared in the fall. Give the soil a good turn and put a cushion of quality potting soil between your starts and the fresh soil you are planting in. The new soil can be a little hot for new starts. That of course depends on what you amend or prepare your soil with.

  6. On the subject of Frost.... No Can Do....

BUT.... They "DO" take the cold well... ( Sorta )

I've been covering my plants everyday for the past week...
Squeezing every day I can.... To get more AMBER
I'm solid 5 weeks of Budding...
Cloudy with slight amber.... I WANT MORE !

Anywho , Last night the plants were covered as usual...
But the Temp was going to dip COLDER than it has lately...
It was 29 F this morning...
When I uncovered them later... They LOOK FINE...
I was worried the cold.... the real cold would kill them...
    .
    They survived...

  7. I've been looking around... Can you tell me AFTER you receive the seeds
How much $$$ and Where you get them ?
    Also what Strain...
PM me if you have to...
Are you in the USA ?
Cause I'm not sure about buying any out of the Country.

  8. Sunday will be Harvest...

Trichomes are how I want them...
    and the seeds look good.
After all this care... it seems funny that
I actually feel BAD about cutting them.

    I'll get over it...

  9. I totally feel ya on the chop... I've dedicated some serious attention time and love to mine and its not over yet. I'm already sad about even the prospect of cutting them down, lol!

  10. Jumped to Saturday...

  11. that looks great. My harvest will be this Friday. They are on their 8th week of flower

  12. Beautiful! What have we here?

  13. just some bagseed . sativa dominant I assume. Which sucks because it probably needs more than 8 weeks of flower. But its time to pick. Temps of 25 Friday night.

Yeah, If I wasn't chasing the Frost and COLD....I would have let mine go more...( i got 6 weeks , Milky Trichs )
They were "Getting By" being covered at night...
But they were showing signs of wear...

As it is...Seems last weekend was the Final push for good weather...
Now it looks like we are on the SLIDE to a 6 month Winter...
    .
Was that a Gorilla Grow ?
    It Blends well...

PS Since I'm experimenting with LED and a small grow tent...( Clones )
Before the move into the tent...
I decided to use the tent and it's outside venting to dry the Harvest...
For three days I've had the exhaust fan and an inside "mixer" fan on....
I think today I'll put the timer on.... 10 min each hour
It will turn both fans on...

  15. Tents work well! I have one in my garage specifically for that... And you can filter the air out in exhaust, if need be.

  16. I don't need to filter the air.... Just trying to avoid smelling up the house...
The tent works good for the different stages of drying...
    all in the dark...

First... I just wanted the Moister drastically reduced...to prevent mold
Now , after three days of venting...
Venting 10 min per hour while in the tent will hold the humidity steady...
    and slowly drop it...

That's the plan until Curing Jars...
I might buy one of those meters..

  17. Actually... I switched up...
After reading the article again... I trimmed and brown paper bagged them...
    http://buymarijuanaseeds.com/community/threads/sim...
    .
I'm keeping the two plants separate....
    One reason... Different strains...
Main reason... I pollinated parts on BOTH plants...
I don't want to mix the seeds...
    .
    As I trimmed each plant...
I ended up with buds in a pile...
    Yes they are SLIGHTLY damp...
But I weighed them to get an estimate...
Atomic Twinkie had went through HELL...
That's how she got her name...
She came in at 2.75 oz

Purple Kiss... My VERY NICE STRAIN...
Came in JUST UNDER 5 oz

I thought later... Wow... That's almost a half pound...
Not bad for a first time...

    ( OK... I've grown some before...NOT like this...Internet GOOD )

  18. Oooops... I lied...

The one plant was fairly dry in the tent...

But the other , which I THOUGHT I had close to 5oz...
Has seemed to drop an ounce of moister...

It's fairly dry now.... at about 4oz
    .
The other was 2.75.... She dropped to 2.5

I figured those weights were a pinch wet...
But one was fat buds holding the water more......

  20. My caretaker told me to sprinkle Milorganite all around the grow site. Deer hate the smell and won't go anywhere near it. It worked for me. It's also a fertilizer so it won't harm the plant.
