vaping vs butter

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by willie11, Sep 2, 2015.

  1. Hi everyone,

I have had the pleasure to win the Volcano vaporizer, I have been trying it for some months now. I love the discreteness it gives me with regards to the smell factor. I was taking 0.54 gram of butter daily to control my pain. Once I got the Volcano I watched video after video on what settings to use, I ended up settling for 6.5 but it makes me feel pretty high.

I had forgotten about my butter in the freezer, being so wrapped up in using the vaporizer. I had been in terrible pain for the last two weeks so I decided to give the butter a try again because I have been thinking of going to the pain clinic for spinal injections. I bumped it up to 0.65 grams because of the pain in my legs and feet. My wife and I timed it from when I ingested it, 0:25 minutes later there was no more pain in my feet, I was able to walk with out no pain I was really amazed at the difference.

I have now decided to daily ingestion of butter, I ordered some some Purple Kush extreme to start making my own butter here at home.
If anyone has any suggestions on what setting to use on the dial Volcano to get the most pain relief out of it, It would be appreciated greatly.

Thanks again Grasscity for awesome gift of the Volcano Vaporizer,
    Ron

  2. some strains can excite your nerve endings leading to more awareness/feeling of pain( hence do not go to the dentist high because it can be extreme sensitivity!) . a cbd strain will not do that so use a cbd strain in the vape and see what works . your edible seems to really be the best way for pain control with the vape as more of a periphery device that bumps on the periphery. you can fine tune your edible experience with the vape but trying a cbd strain could be the ticket too....

  3. For reliable pain relief many people use Green Dragon tincture. There is a sticky thread in the section called Incredible Edible Herb, thread called Another Tincture Thread, try it you'll like it.

You don't have to read the whole thread, there is an index. Follow the recipe exactly for best results. There has been one change that has not been updated yet.

Decarb is 240 F for 40 minutes. This is not guesswork, PsychedelicSam has, at his own expense and time had more than a few tests preformed.

  4. Thanks for the replies, every little bit info helps in the long run.
I will try out a higher cbd, I will have to order some more seeds lol.
I have enough curing that I can make a tincture and try it out also.

    cheers
