Ive broken two bongs and a bubbler.

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by Two Scoops, Sep 2, 2015.

  1. That's like 300 dollars worth of glass. But anyway this thread is asking if any of you get clumsy while high? Any breakages or falls?

  2. I've broken more pieces than I'd like to admit. At least 4 bongs, a couple spoons, and a few down stems this year. The most memorable one was my triple tree perk beaker base. That thing was so big and it was daily piece. $200 bong and I just had to kick it over.. R.I.P ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1441163967.084331.jpg

  3. I'm with you. Ive gone through some pipes in my day. Its just part of the budget now haha

  4. I've broke more shit then I can remember. I don't ever see myself owning anything to fancy again. I've had a couple nice pieces many moons ago. Never really had sentimental attachment, just sucks watching a couple hundred bucks break in half:( I couldn't imagine some of the ridiculous $$$ bongs $$$$. Much much less painful to watch some cheap piece break. Not being cheap, just came to grips with my clumsiness. Clumsiness is costly

  5. I've broken my down stem on my bong twice, first time I was closing my window and my bowl was slightly facing out and caught the window as it came down, second one rolled off a table Haha. Haven't really broken any main pieces though. Cheers!

  6. I broke my bubbler on the way home from buying it lmao, thankfully it was an easy fix with some gorilla glue.
My friend broke my first bong

  7. No broken bongs or pieces, just more broken bowls and stems than I can count.

  8. My smoke spot is in my dads old shop and its cement floors and it has claimed a lot of glass during sessions from me dropping or knocking them over or my dog knocking it over by accident...

I just went and bought a classic Graffix acrylic bong...I know people like to hate on anything not glass but I love it...it hits as good as any glass bong I've had and I've knocked it over and dropped it plenty of times and its not even scratched up...

lucky nothing of mine over the years....

But my friend got a bong with a ash catcher. We got 2 bowls through it and set it in front of a cracker box.

Minutes later he grabs the box and knocks the ash catcher over off the table. And falls onto the new bong. Thankfully the bong didn't break but the ash catchers stem broke clean off

Edit I did break my first bong. The bong uses a rubber gromet for holding the downstem. And I just so happened to have aluminum foil over the downstem for diffusion.

I was high. And decided to take out the downstem. Problem was the foil made for a tight fit. So I was pulling it out and it got stuck against the rim. I wiggled it a bit and off came a piece of rim.

Glued that thing up and had no problems since...... Then it got stolen.

  10. I know I'm not alone with this...

But I'm the worst at sitting a bowl in my lap and forgetting then standing up...throwing the bowl on the ground...my phone catches hell with that as well but I haven't cracked the screen yet

  11. I don't break much glass, 1 pipe(china glass), 1 bong(neglected cleaning) and a few slides(all still worked after).

I just be careful when I am using glass.

  12. broken glass is like a broken soul... so much pain!! bout 4 bongs gone down the tube to date [IMG]

  13. This is a serious problem for me too. I'm scared for when I have a kid and forgets its on my lap haha

  14. 7 bongs broken in one instant. About $500 gone, then have $800 worth of glass taken from me 3 months later

  15. man i broke my buddies 2 footer beaker bong a few years back, stood up when i was holding it and it smashed into his propane tank and broke at the bottom , he surprisingly didnt get mad, i've also broken a pipe and a mini zong, i was pretty careless and just had them in my bag, sucks but it happens, got a nutty double honeycomb perc now tho, its my baby ahaha

  16. When i bought my very first bong from a liquor/tobacco store (it cost like 30 bucks) I brought it home to show my friend who had introduced me to smoking. So I sneak it into my house and set it down on my comfy ass computer chair. Then I proceed to walk across the street to come brag about my first bong to him and hes stoked as hell and comes over. When he gets to my room to look at it he doesn't even notice that I put it on the chair and what does his dumbass do? HE SITS ON THE THING!

broke the bowl before I even got one puff out of it yet... Needless to say he replaced the bowlpiece with a brand new heavier one from the local smoke shop and it was a fine replacement indeed that cost the same price as the bong itself. Overall a better bowlpiece to a shittier bong was a great way to kick off my bongloads of fun! [IMG]

oh and I had named that bong the "blue lizzard" because it was a blue standard non-glass on glass foot and a halfer with a bubble beaker bottom with fractal lizzards around the glass for a design. much like this here:

in fact, that probably IS my bong...

  17. I used to break bongs all the time. Probably lost $900 or so, I've broken about 7 or 8. Luckily I'm very careful now, and my bong's been holding out for 9 months so far.

  18. Of all of the dozens of pieces I've owned, I've only broken one, a mini spoon my honey made. I dropped it while solo toking in my son's garage. (I'm an early riser, and was enjoying a vacation wake & bake.)

  19. I've never broken any smoking tools but there have been a few close calls in the past.
