Restarting YouTube

  1. I used to make Call of Duty videos back in the day when I was like 15-17. I had tons of fun doing it and became relatively successful but ended up just slowing quitting because I simply outgrew CoD and basically quit YT all together. I was recently inspired to restart and create League of Legends and other various videos. I'm currently a Plat 4 but have tons of unique ideas and ways to help other players that I have not seen anyone else ever talk about. I really want to help people out while doing something I love but I would just like some advice first of all.

    1. Should I just restart on my channel that I used then? It has about 9k subs but there are a ton of inactive ones and I'm sure a vast majority would not be interested in LoL and are still interested in CoD or just something else. I'm also still partnered with Machinima. This was when you couldn't make money off of CoD videos unless you had a partnership so I feel like they would be taking a larger percentage of my earnings than if I were to make a new account

    2. My mom knows about my account and knows when a video is uploaded. I would love to tell my viewers about all of the things that have happened to me in the past but a majority would be very, well, not good for my mom to hear. How could I manage to create a new channel without her knowing? I would probably make a video on my main channel advertising my new channel just to get a basic audience rather than start from scratch because it would just be difficult to do that.

    Thank you for reading!
