Mr.WeedyWonka, fine video. Does cooking on low for 24 hours complete the decarb? I noticed you didn't have a decarb step. This is exactly how I made my first canna cookies. They were truly potent. Also, how is the flavor? Does the water take out the stuff that makes that green, strong taste? I usually water cure for a week for a milder flavor, but if cooking the butter/cannabis with water does the same thing I'll skip that step in the future. Like the cannabis/butter ration I like my butter strong. Thanks,

  3. Hey Joker this will decarb the erb great. With the constant heat and than to use the press after while the erb is hot will help make your butter psychoactive,I've been baking for almost 19yrs now and have supplied shops from the O.C to L.A under my name of WeedyWonka. I have tried many other methods but this has always been the best way that I have found. The flavor will still have a slight hue of erb but not strong. If your baking, use some vanilla extract and that will work great for cookies.
I hope this helps in your butter making and that you give it a shot. I will teach how to make a lot of things in the near future. If there is anything you are looking to make or extract just ask.

    Thanks
    WeedyWonka...

Thanks, you answered my questions. Can't wait to try it, on a smaller scale though.
By the way, do you know how much thc the butter can hold? I mean is there a max ratio? Would one ounce work for 1 1/2 stick butter to yield 1/2 cup? Is that amount of butter able to hold all the thc.
    Thanks,
    Joker

    Hey Joker

There is no real way to tell the potency or amount of THC by volume in the butter without some kind of scientific analysis..
When making extracts, it all depends on the process of the extraction. I have used everything from the cola of my crops to the ugliest brick weed to bake with and I can tell you that nobody could ever tell the difference in taste or strength of my products. If youre going to use 1 ounce use 2 sticks it wont hurt and you will get more weight on your finished product of butter and your butter will be strong.
I will post a video for you on baking cookies this weekend and show you my process. Simple , strong and will lock you on the couch.

    Thanks,
    WeedyWonka
