  1. After smoking weed the nxt few days I feel slower/dumber is this common. Btw I also smoke tobacco i thought I'd throw that in. I just wanna know if this is normal to feel dumber. And how weed affects you.

  2. yeah can often happen especially if you have a low tolerance, usually no longer than a day though

I used to vape every night before bed and found that I had less motivation, less self-controI, and less emotional stability, effecting my overall productivity. However, I have found that taking a week T break then reducing the frequency of consuming weed tremendously helped. Like any drug, it should be something to enjoy, not abuse. No more than 3x a week is good for me.

  4. Used to happen to me when my tolerance was low

At this point tho I can take several bong rips and then head to work a few hours later and none r the wiser

  5. Its just a feeling but you are actually slower when high

  6. In my moderately informed opinion, the feelings you are describing are related to your dopamine levels. Smoking the Herb tends to use a lot of dopamine and thus leave very little available for a few days. If you smoke too regularly, and don't do things to raise your dopamine (e.g. workout, eat well, get lots of sleep), you will feel drained and slow on or off the Herb.

using the Herb tends to make people stay up late, eat poorly, and not workout. Then people smoke more because a short burst of dopamine feels better than feeling drained all day, and this can cause a downward spiral.

If you can be disciplined about working out, eating right, and getting enough sleep. You can guard against this spiral. Smoking every day is inadvisable in any case, but your limit is something you should work out. Less than 3 times a week sounds reasonable as a starting point.

Incidentally, one of my favorite things to do is smoke and work out while watching a movie; you can really get into a rhythm.

  7. It depends how high you've been the night before and for how long. I really struggle with life if I smoke too much and too long. So I guess it's normal!

  8. Let's try to keep this on track shall we?

    No need for pissing contests...

  9. For how long have you been smoking if I may ask?

  10. A few months

  11. I concur with wyzard, however, I think that the feelings can be caused by the cannabinoind levels tapering. Not the dopamine. We're talking about cannabis, not methamphetamines, cannabis does not release all of our dopamine at once like other drugs do. As a matter of fact I think the cannabinoids mimic dopamine and bind to the receptors instead of releasing our "supply". If I were on a computer I'd list some sources, but you can do your own research. ;)

I have been smoking very regularly for twelve years. Moderation of your life style is key to wellness. I constantly change my life style and smoking habits to fit the moment. Some times I don't smoke for months other times I smoke six times a day. Remember, what goes up must come down. The spike and crash can be too much. I never get smoke over a 7 on a scale of 1-10. I simply don't like the crash.
