Microwave edible?

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by BobbyDerp, Aug 30, 2015.

  1. Before you read I'm using a microwave because that's the only thing I have access to at the moment.
I've read a bunch of threads on making edibles in the microwave and I usually see half people saying that it works and half saying the thc will get destroyed. I don't know what method to use so I've decided that I'm not going to put the actual weed into the microwave because I don't want it to get ruined so this is what I'm going to do.
    1) Put peanut butter and maybe a little oil in the microwave.
    2) Microwave it for 10 sets of 10 seconds because people have said they've burned peanut butter in the microwave.
    3) After the peanut butter is extremely hot I'm going to immediately mix the grinded up bud into the peanut butter for 5-10 minutes.
    4) I'm going to let it sit until it gets cool and then put it in the fridge to get cold and then eat it.

I'm not making this as a tutorial, I'm just asking if you think this would work. I feel it would because I wouldn't be putting the weed in the microwave, I would just be putting it into really hot peanut butter which is fatty for the thc to absorb. Either way, I'm going to try this soon and I'll definitely post how it is.

    Please decarb your bud first.
Sorry, I forgot you said you only had a microwave. My bad.

  4. I do not believe it will work without decarb. Perhaps if the material over a year it may have naturally decarbed.

  5. Personally, if I ONLY had a microwave, I'd just smoke it.
