this shit goes really in depth on the whole medillin cartel only thing i think its kind of missing is a little more of miami and the cocaine cowboys shit but its pretty fucking great that first episode will get you hooked garunteed

I think Luiz Guzman is the shit in this show. Refreshing to see him play the bad guy for once instead of the funny, outspoken dude in his usual roles. I watched "Waiting" shortly before watching Narcos . It's like watching Brian Cranston in Malcolm in the Middle then watching Breaking Bad.

I finished the first season tonight. Great fucking show. I was hooked from the first episode. You really get to see how badass and ruthless Pablo Escobar was. I'm pretty stoked Netflix renewed it for a second season.
