Hydroponic clones problem help please

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by Erik557, Aug 28, 2015.

  1. I took these clones from a flowering plant about 20 days in. I topped and transplanted the first three into a 15 gal res and left the other three where the were cloning originally. I noticed the plants started clawing and drying off I have a heat issue I don't know if that might be it or if it was because I topped and transplanted too early. I moved all the clones into a small tray with phd ro water hoping they get better three are really bad the ones I topped they seem to be trying to grow new leaves but it's like they dry off as soon as they do. The other three look okay for now I am noticing some clawing and drying of new leaves please help me. 2. That looks like nute burn to me
Im a soil guy so hopefully a hydro grower can chime in and give you a definite.

  3. Do you know the ph of your solution? Do you know the temp of your solution in the reservoir? Did you boost the ppms or did you keep it at what the mother was getting? Do you know the temp of the room?

  4. I have been having ph and ppm fluctuations not much but 1 day it will be at 5.8 where I usually keep it and the next at 6.1 and ppm il have it at 150-200 and the next it will be at 340 and I stopped the nutes on the really bad ones and haven't gave any to the ones that are still good. When I had them in my cabs the temps where around 85 and the res around 80 and they try to grow back but burn once they try to. The mother is in flower and doing good I'm actually about to flush her idk what happened if I grew the mother in the same kind of conditions as these. The good clones seem to be getting new green growth so hopefully those pull through and I'm thinking it is mute burn and topping them too early just made it worse.

  5. Ok well the res temp shouldn't get over 69...things will start to rot. If you have clones, u need to feed them what the mother was getting when she was in veg. Your ph is good and I like how u fluctuate it.
