So Much For Obesity Theory

  1. A month ago my nephew, an MD told me that I needed to lose weight to help with my neurological pain.....specifically in my feet and legs. I told him about my new "medicine " and he told me that while it will help with the pain....it would exacerbate the weight problem and make the condition worse.

    I'm 5' 10" and weighed in at 248lbs a month ago.

I smoke every day and this morning weighed in at 214.8 ........

I texted him a pic of the scale and the half Oz of widow I had left in the bag sitting right next to it.

It was all about simply eating better and smarter......and swimming.

  2. wisefreek, good for you! I keep reading about studies that reflect your experience. Smoking cannabis does not lead to weight gain.

  3. munchies does though if you aren't careful

Smoking weed can definatly make you want to sit around and chow down on snacks. I don't think aanyone denies that

  4. Congrats on disproving your doctor OP! The common disbelief of Calories is the metabolism rate. You can lose weight by avid exercise and swimming is a great choice! Just a few hours a day whilst stoned and focused will motivate you to do what you ask doctors to do for you. Well done, and keep at it [IMG]

Oh and white widow is a fantastic strain, I'm mad jealous ^_^

I think munchies can be controlled with good habits. it seems harder for new smokers to not eat the whole sleeve of cookies lol. good job op.
