  1. Hey guys, I am starting my first organic grow to cook for this winter and am debating on what im going to use for my soil. I dont want to use slaughterhouse or guanos, I recently heard negatives on guano but im not for certain.

Theres the coots mix all you need is a base s6xoil which is convenient but I havnt seen enough to buy it. There are a few specific items I want to use, as Im convinced its right for my mix.

Crustacean meal( also good for worm bin Id assume due to chitin.)
    Fish bone meal
    Glacial rock dust
Rice hulls or lava rock for aeration
    Oyster Shell
    Kelp meal
    Heard both sides on azomite

Im building a worm bin and compost as well, very excited to have a variety for them. Fun to research. Never thought of worms mating.

Im going to make something to aerate compost teas, as I want to just use water and teas. Im very interested in what you guys have to say! I appreciate your time.

  2. Well I just posted a thread with some pics to the DIY tea brewer I just made. Cost about 13$ in parts plus an air pump. Here the basic pvc idea

Looks like you're definitely headed the right direction. I'm new to organics as well but I'll be subbed. Best of luck. See ya round.
