  1. here are some pics and info on my ladies, just wondering what your thoughts on how they look, to me, they seem to be growing very slow, and i need your help !

these babies have been in the soil for exactly 1 week today.

    -4 23W CFLs
    -Good in and out airflow
-Soil is organic Nature's Care (home depot shit)
    -Perilite mixed in
-watering every couple days using distilled water (only when soil is dry)
-used first cycle of distilled with fox farms Big Bloom today

-also note both stalks seem to be quite "stringy"

-also one plant seems to be looking a lot better than the other as you can tell in the pictures

ANY HELP OR INSIGHT IS APPRECIATED !

  2. Tis pretty thin. Put a fan on it just enough to shake it a little and the stem should thicken up. You should also put more dirt in there and all that will grow roots. Did it pop seven days ago or did you plant the seed seven days ago? Looks to be going fine either way. Right on brutha

  3. Oh yeah, how far away are the lights? I keep mine as close as possible, 4" away at the most

  4. my lights are right at 4" and there is a breeze on them as well. I will throw a little more mix on top, and it popped up like 32 hours after planting, so has been above soil for a week.

thanks though, just a worried 1st timer haha, good to know they look like they're doing well

  6. looks good have some over watering starting though and the stretch is from not enough light..lower your light or get more light and dont water again till its bone dry

  7. thanks. Just lowered my lights a notch on my links. and do you think because the soil has "moisture control" that its holding water and I'm just seeing the top layer dry out ? also, added in a grid to hold the plants in a better position.

  8. yea I never go by the top layer just lift your pot now and feel how heavy it is and then wait till it's noticably lighter..plants also barely drink any water until the roots are established and it starts taking off..I've had seedlings in 3 gal pots take a week+ to water again depending on humidity

  9. thanks for the info, I shall check them out now. my humidity stays around 20-40% and lights on temps around 78-81
