    I'm sitting here smoking some blunts with my grandpa having a grand old time. We just got done eating fried chicken and he is telling me some off colored jokes. My grandpa is funny as shit. We are smoking some acapulco gold. My grandpa Joe bought some seeds of this back in the late 70's or early 80's he can't remember but this strain has been grown by my family for over 30 years and still gets us high as fuck. Grandpa Joe is the shit. I'm a grandpa too, I'm grandpa Jon. My grandson gets to hang out with his great great grandpa.

    Acapulco Gold was always a fine sativa back in the day. Good harsh hits with a great smell and all those SEEDS!!!!!

    No seeds because this hasn't been pollinated in the 30+ years we've had it. I guess you bought it from someone that has no idea how to grow or manicure bud. Hopefully you have found a better hookup by now.

    Back in the day it was from huge bundles smuggled up from the border. Everything had seeds before "Sensimilla" gained solid ground and even then it could be hard to find.


    This was before northern Cali began producing enough to get the east-west hookup going.


    And yes, I have no need for "hook-ups", yet I "hook-up" plenty. :)

    I hope all those that knocked the High Times weed from the 70's are reading this thread.
    The chit may not have been the prettiest to look at, but it was bad ass.
    Tell your Gramps I said thanks for keeping an old strain going.
    I smoked that back in 77 or so.
