Heres the deal startin to have a very tough time keepin my PH stable. Im gonna talk about both PH an PPMs just a bit here. My water comes out the tap at a PH of 8.5 means i have hard water right? The PPMs are 300+ I use my tap water in my rez an use the PH Down 3 ML brings it to 5.0 in 3 days it goes to something not even on the charts (im usein Gen Hydro PH liquid test kit. Anyone got any ideas besides getting AN PH perfect which didnt workfor me either?
Let water evap and temper for 24 hours, then check stats If it has high ph and ppm still, may have to start buying water
Yep, been there done that an no way am i buying water all the time to change my rez especially i wanna do 10 plants thats crazy LOL right now im only running 2 5gals Good looken out!
I agree with letting the water breather for 24 hours...but you want to keep it moving for that 24hours. That way, the water will release the chlorine you don't want and aerate the water at the same time. Just a pump and just bubble it for the 24.
Well got my water under control tested this morning. Everything i think will be good from now on in my dro set up. Pics soon!
