Feminized White widow. (Firstgrow/post)

  1. I am growing feminized white widow. I'm in about week 6 or 7 of flower now. I planted these beans directly into untilled soil early April. I live in a desert climate and my temps reached over a hundred all summer long. I had no expectations. At about 3 weeks into flowering I dug up around 2 inches of top soil and put a dirt wall an additional 2 inches around the perimeter I added a top soil from Kellogg brand, in total four inches. The buds have Been very stringy and loose up untill this week they started to add a little bit of weight in comparison. another thing I'd like to add is that I hadn't fed any nutes with water plain old h20. 4 week in flowering I started to feed with "Humboldt nutrients bloom" and a product called fulbase which is essentially 45% fulvic acid and has npk of 1-3-2. after feeding them the growth has Ben explosive but still not yielding the results I'd like. here are some pics. please give me some advice or words of encouragement. will it put in alot more weight or will it keep this thinned out appearance? jus need some guidance

  2. Bump. Someone help me out?

  3. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1440271485.289907.jpg This is the main trunk. is anything strange about it orrrr it looks normal and I'm out of my mind?

  4. Your plant looks good to me. Everything looks normal.

Why are you concerned about it?

The soil does look a little dry. I would add a whole bag of organic soil to the dirt around it.

It looks like she is ready to fatten up. Make sure the soil is moist.

Be careful about the nutes. A couple of the fan leave tips are a little burnt. It's ok though. Just watch her.

  5. It looks good. I think WW needs at least 10 weeks and can go 11-12, and yields are modest. I tried to grow a WW variant, but it didn't finish until November at my latitude, the weather was cold and wet, and I was battling mold for the last 3 weeks. You're on track to do better. With a few more weeks of sunshine, you'll have something very good indeed...

  6. Mainly the slowed growth is what I'm concerned about. but i believe the heat is to blame it's very hot and dry. so I'm not worried about frost because it won't get too cold in winter. the tips were burnt before I even gave it liquid nutes so I believe that's to heat as well. I water every other day.

  7. like I said before not too worried about the cold. deep winter won't start till late December and even then won't get colder than 45.

I've Ben watering half strength nutes. 2 waters feed to 1 plain h20. I water every other day because any longer my soil becomes quite dry. I had a grass hopper problem but haven't seen any since last week. when ever I've noticed one I've pinched it. you can see the damage on the leaves with missing edges or holes. its crazy I thought i wouldnt be able to pull off an outdoor grow. its extremely hot where I live. I'm surprised the plant didn't fry all the way up.

  9. this is what's going on inside the bud structures. its hard to really tell with the naked eye, but these pics really gave me an idea how immature it actually is. gave me a good piece of mind that these things might actually fatten up quite a bit more. and the long season will be imperative for its finish. 10. If you can give that plant another six weeks you'll end up with gourmet buds.

  11. Definitely I was thinking around 4-6 weeks left as well. I'm hoping on the earlier side my patience is running thin. I was originally very worried but the past week really has me feeling better about the overall progress.

  12. Where did u get the seeds?

  13. I received the seeds from a friend's private seed bank. the strain is originally an indoor strain according to him.

  14. Some new budshots! I fed last night! it's seems after every night feeding I get an abundance of white pistils the following morning. 15. I think you probably have a little heat stress going on, but mainly your plants are budding and the sun leaves will start to turn yellow.

What I see in your photos is outdoor WW that is in good shape but has a long ways to go. If you give it enough water, don't overdo it with the fertilizer or plant food, and if you are patient... you will have something truly sublime, but not until the second half of October. I wish I could grow WW outdoors. I think of outdoor WW or haze as the ultimate luxury bud. It takes forever to finish, and WW in particular is highly prone to mold.

  16. thanks so much you've Been a great help to me. I am concerned mainly because certain branches were discolored. and others not affected yet. also the stems on the branches were a little more flaccid in comparison to the darker green

  17. here's an update some of the branches are really having a hard time leaves out of the buds are completely shrivling in. do you guys know what's going on. someone told me it was normal towards the last few weeks of flowering for the plant to consume nitrogen left in leaves and that that was what's happening. anyways here's the pics. Some branches appear to be healthy and full of green

  18. also caught some of these little white bugs flying around my buds after shaking my plant.
    ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1440796548.937167.jpg
any idea what they are? are they doing harm?

  19. Okay so I believe they're aphids and I have a severe infestation the reason the leaves are dying! how can I erradicate them immediately. they're destroying my plant at an alarming rate. this is urgent. I live no where near a hydro store so a solution from Lowes or Walmart or something like that would help the most. or am I too late and I should just pull it out and harvest early
