My god, this is just....it's too amazing for words.

Also, before we get our knickers all twisted up: I'm not saying all Christian conservatives are like this....I'm just saying, you guys sure have a funny way of picking your ideological leaders.

  2. JD is an ideological leader??? lol

But this is what happens when people allow themselves to be put on a pedestal. The "city set on a hill" also provides a great glass house and makes for a helluva target for detractors.

I never knew we picked him as an "Ideological leader"..[IMG] .. I count Jesus as the only holder of that position, friend. All this shows is that all men and women, Christian or not, are subject to temptation..

  4. He even raped 5 girls, 4 were his sisters. Its ok though because he asked for gods forgiveness and stuff. Just like me and my serial killings, ive asked for jesus to forgive so now i know its alright :)

  5. Shagnus, your comment shows a complete lack of understanding of Christianity.. One can simply "ask" for forgiveness but that by no means equals unbridled forgiveness. Forgiveness is granted through evidence of said repentance.. Anyone can say I'm sorry, as you have for your serial killing lol [IMG].. But only God knows the heart my friend.. Even further, true repentance will give birth to an equal and opposite reaction in many cases.. Also, while possibly forgiven you need to take other things into account - not having a knowledge of the Word I understand your short coming, perhaps facetiousness should be left to those who have a basic understanding of the topic? As a Christian (or a spiritually educated individual) knows that Biblical truths are subject to the entire Word of God.. i.e "A man shall reap what he sows..." So even though he may seek forgiveness, there will still be consequences to his actions..

  6. He was a pretty big public figure. You may not have picked him, but lots of other people did. Also, I like how when a Christian makes a mistake, it's suddenly 'Oh everyone can make mistakes'. No man, fuck that. You don't generally see this type of despicable hypocrisy except from religious zealots like this. You don't hear about secular leaders secretly backing the KKK or otherwise horrible shit.

I don't really bear any ill-will towards Christians in general, but this shit is all too typical. You own this one, you don't get to dodge it.

  7. No... I love jesus and god. Because i love them and spread their love they will always love and forgive me no matter what

Lol I (we) own this one? That doesn't make any sense... Do you not see the disgusting things that happen in this world on a daily basis? How about our noble government supporting an organization that sells unborn infant parts, and SWEEPING it under the rug.. I've heard more about confederate flags and Bruce Jenner.. We should mention the word Islam if we want to discuss a religion that is based on "horrible shit."

The actions of JD in not even the faintest way resemble what Christianity (and Christ Himself) teaches.. The exact opposite in fact.. So to point a finger is illogical. It's obvious he wasn't in Christ, as he wouldn't have done those things in the first place.

We hear about secular "leaders" (if you will) doing just the same.. Didn't secular society idolize Mr Cosby? How about Michael Jackson... The list goes on and on.. I mean, we're talking about a kid on a reality show, not the pope brotha..

It just seems that people love to kick a (proclaiming) Christian a little harder than the rest. Nearly jovial to see them fall from their attempt at living a life of high moral standards.. A life of humility and peace.. While
it's sickening to see those professing Christianity, only smearing the image and true meaning of Christ. It's foolish to judge an entire worldview, by the actions of a tiny fraction of ignorant, and hypocritical zealots..

  9. Just as an aside, Planned Parenthood isn't selling fetal tissue. Turn off the Fox news...step away from the television.

Cosby? MJ? The hell are you smoking man? Those dudes don't have anything to do with secularism, in fact they're (were, in MJ's case) both Christians. Secular leaders are, for instance...Adam Savage...Bill Nye...Neil deGrasse Tyson, Carl Sagan, Dan Dennett. You never heard about those types of guys doing awful shit, like actively hurting people by opressing them based on their sexual orientation, and at the same time raping girls and cheating on their wives.

I didn't say what JD did represents Christianity. I'm saying his hypocrisy is typical of Christian people.

I'm not saying all Christian people are awful, but it seems like most awful people are Christian.

Hell yes I like to kick him harder than the rest. When you go around claiming that people are ruining the sanctity of marriage, while you're breaking the vows of your own, you're ass is gonna get kicked, and you deserve every bit of it.

Also, re: Muslims; You're basically the same.

  10. I am totally not surprised about Duggar having an account on Ashley Madison. I was more surprised with the subway guy.

    One was not enough. LOL

The only reason duggar gets packed in with the social conservatives is because he was a conservative lobbyists opposing equal rights for LGTBQ people. He was opposed to gay people because they could be pedophiles...

Duggar is more important in a sort of fringe evangelical group called the quiver-full movement, who, in short, want to spam the fucking world with kids by using female uterus's as baby mini-guns, and then home school them so they are protected from the evils of science.

The quiverfull people own him, since their large family helped him become a pedo.

  11. You missed the entire point.. Just because someone claims Christianity, doesn't mean they're following Christ.. People can claim whatever they like.. "It seems like most awful people are Christians." Lol that is so outrageously ignorant and naive that it doesn't even warrant a response..

You keep living in your secular ivory tower and ignoring things like this: http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/michael-w-chapman/planned-parenthood-baby-body-parts-video-was-crack-little-bits-skull, chalking it up to reporter error, and I'll go on living as a Muslim lmao.. Take care bud

Sure, I get that there's better or worse ways to follow any religion or set of beliefs. But the fact remains that religious people, by and large, do more awful things than people who aren't affiliated, all while claiming to be morally superior. That's a correlation you can't ignore. It might be just that, a correlation. But it warrants investigation.

Also: LMAO, your sources are a joke:

  13. A video negates a source bud.. Self explanatory..

I could explain to you the concept of selective editing, and how the whole process works with PP and fetal tissue, but I know you're either too stupid to comprehend, or too spun up in propaganda to even think about it, so I won't bother.

  15. All so typical, same "debate" different thread. Some people are just fuckin lost

  16. Thanks for the insightful conjecture bro..

  17. I was wondering which of you would have something to say to me. Of course the Christian.

lol it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out you were talking about me, buddy.. If you have nothing of pertinence to add to the conversation than what's the point? Do unintelligible jabs accomplish anything of worth?

  19. How was it "unintelligible" if "it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out he was talking about you"...

Its more that you assumed it was about you instead of being about people having the same "christanity is bad" debate in thread after thread...

Then you choose to belittle him... does calling people names and stating what their purpose is make you feel better about yourself? Closer to god?
