Hi guys! My name is Denise and I've been smoking weed for a while now, but I want to start smoking oil and wax more because some recreational dispensaries opened in my town (oil and wax are finally available for me all of the time now lol). I've only smoked this stuff at my friends house and they have rigs but I'm looking for a pen. So can you guys give me some advice as to which brand/website I should check out so I can buy a good one (price isn't a huge concern). I'd really appreciate any input!
The stok R series is my favorite at the moment. There's a bit more of a technique to hitting it than a cloud or a g pen, but it also produces MUCH better vapor. It's $50, which makes it more affordable. Clouds run around $80, last I checked. Whichever pen you choose (and there are a billion options) do your due diligence. For example, some need to be charged longer the first time. When you're on the go try to keep the pen upright, to keep the oil where it belongs. Tipping it if it's warm can get oil in all sorts of spots you don't want it.
Also these are the same as a g-pen and work better from what I hear. Havn't used one myself though. But anything on that w9 site is good.
Just get a minirig and a little case. Nothing beats the efficiency or taste of a low temp dab out of a minitube!
But you can't dab on a mini rig just anywhere. Hard to bust a torch out in public. Try hitting a mini rig at Disneyland and see how that turns out vs hitting a pen there. I do hear what your saying though. A pen is no where near as good as a dab. To OP, it depends on the type of wax\\oil your going to be getting. Im not big on the pens but out of the ones I have tried I liked the G pen way better then the cloud. The Omni hit the best but those are very complicated and pricey. Now if I am going somewhere I can't dab I will just get one of the preloaded cartridges for any 510 threaded Ecig battery. You should see if your dispensary has any of those. They go from $20-$50 per cart. Stay away from O-pen. It taste nasty. Hope this helped.
I'll say it again, pens are not gonna give you what you desire. I have t tried every pen but I've tried plenty and the all do the same thing. They burn the oil rather than vaporize it and the heating element is almost always made of SS. Not a really good investment health wise and also for smoking Concentrates in general. Good errl should be dabbed on a rig. The flavor and high you get from them are amIng!!! And you can get a small portable rig and small torch that's a lot easier to carry around than you would think! If you want further recomendation let me know I know plenty of awesome small rigs that are great for travel. Also in multiple price ranges
I have used a few different pens at this point, the best I have used by far for wax pens is the Puffco, deep chamber, reasonably priced coils and 3 temps.
