I recently broke my redeyetech scientific bong, which had a slitted barrel perc. Now I'm in the market for a new bong, and I noticed there seems to be no threads anywhere on here about percolators! So what do you guys like? What kinds do you guys have or want and why?
I think it depends on who you ask. People like different levels of diffusion on their hits. Arguably the best perc on the market is the Möbius matrix (photo 1), those things hit so nice. My personal opinion obviously, but any milkshot video will show you what I'm talking about. Avoid anything with a tree or inline percs, they function ok but it's outdated tech and there are way better available. Honeycomb and waffle percs tend to clog really quickly and are a bitch to clean. I personally like the Illadelph pyramid and of course, the möbius matrix. Other than those, I'm desperate to try the Mothership flower of life perc (photo 2), my friend just got one so I'll update once I hit it. Hope I helped

It's hard to find accurate information on the percs, but I've got it down now! Well I just got this SWEET redeyetek with a showerhead perc! Thanks for the input man!

It doesn't look like much but I promise you this thing is simply amazing if you use concentrates. The flavor is unreal. I haven't owned many perc pieces but I have hit a few. Currently have 3 shower head pieces and those do the job just fine. I need to start switching it up but just waiting/procrastinating on the right piece.
ive found that fritted disk percs hit the smoothest however ive only tried out 2 different ones that were roughly 9"-11". my first perc bong was a 21" tube with two 8-arm tree percs that did have some drag to it but you could take a fat gnarly rip without killing your lungs. i wouldnt recommend a dome or mushroom perc though.
i love the sovereignty g line.....but only in a bigger tube bcz their smaller ones clog and stain a lot easier....i also love the seed of life lace sphere perc, i love the mega 8 to 12 arm pecs. i dont really judge man, i live the percs on downstems too.....and if i gotta smoke a blunt or joint, well theres no problem there either....
