Hello everyone, welcome to my first real grow journal here. I started threads before, but did it under indoor medical threads not the journal. Anyway I consider this my first true grow as my first was a learning experience. I now have some good stuff together for this round: Plants: I have three cuttings from some bag seed plants outside (that wreak like skunk) that are showing flowers, a clone from a Pain Killer XL, also going to re-vegg my plants in flower right now, and finally I have a seed from Sanctuary Garden's called Lady Oblivion (Afghan Gooey x the Purps) Lights: I will start off with a Mars-Hydro 600 LED (about 200 volts I think) When they all get bigger I will throw a 400W Apollo MH in. Environment: Not sure right now on what it is going to be once it is all set. Right now it is around 90*F in the area and 40% humidity Soil: Pro-Mix BX with Mycorrhizae Amendments: FF Marine Cuisine, Kelp meel, perlite. (any suggestions for any others are welcome) Containers: <span class="redactor-invisible-space"> 5 Gal smart pots</span> <span class="redactor-invisible-space"></span> <span class="redactor-invisible-space">I have attached some pictures that were taken in the room where I am starting this grow. I got a 32 Gal tote to mix up the soil. I got the mix setting out in my barn area for now until it is needed Got the seed in a paper towel...so excited.
Got the room all setup now. Just have a small t5 54watt light for the clones for now. Pain Killer XL got too moist when I went away on vacation. Roots had started to develop and I was gone and never took the dome off, so the new growth was starting to mold and died. Looks like it has some newer growth coming in soon. I hope it recovers...I really need this Pain Killer for my girlfriend. She suffers on a daily basis with pain.
Yea I think so. It is the 600w but it isn't 600 watts. It only draws 250 volts I think. Not sure on the watts. I think that number means how many diodes are in the light. I'll show a picture later down the road. Waiting for a timer that works with the LED 3 prong plug. Yea BEARD! Good to see you in here man. Should be a fun ride on this one. Oh, and just to clarify above, the seed is actually called Lady Oblivion and it is a cross of Afghan Gooey with the Purps. I am going to edit the first post.
I transplanted the PK XL clone. Got lots of roots on it...but the leaves are dying I think there is still hope. The plant seems to be finding spots to grow from still. Main stem is toast on top, but it looks like it is starting to grow new shoots from the bottom nodes. Transplant went well... I watered with a few cups of root stimulator diluted solution and then followed up with some regular pH'd water. PS- Camera kinda sucks so snapped a few
Ok bro...well it looks just like the others I think but I'll take one in a bit here. I am so happy! Just ordered some souvenirs from Herbies. I got Purple Trainwreck and Strawberry Cough The strawberry won the 2012 cannabis cup I really wanted MED GOM 1.0 but they changed shit on me. It is only an auto and it costs like double the f'ing price now. Don't really want to pay over 70 dollars for 5 seeds.
Wow, that's a lot to me for seeds. I didn't pay much for my Jack Herer I got from Dutch Seeds Bank and they goofed and gave me 10 auto seeds lol. I should buy from them again lol they must pack the orders after smoking a few blunts. Oh, by the way. Got another update...my girl wanted something that taste like peaches so, I got some called Peaches not sure about it tho. I think it is from Sanctuary Garden. I added one seed to the paper towel.
Wow, I feel like I am making too many updates at a time LOL. I got ROOTS on one of my cuttings in straight perlite!!!! WooHoo!!! That's the first time I have made my own cutting root. I am pretty stoked about that. On another note I took the pictures of the light for you Jaymu.
Humboldt Seed Organisation Purple Trainwreck Feminised Seeds, I copy pasted it from Herbie's. My girl said the pic of the budding plant was beautiful and it does look very nice. She bought these ones. Had to get our credit card transaction approved first by our bank, I guess they stop doing business with the UK.
