I've got some mystery beans Ive got them ready for soil. So now all the soil I can find has ferts in it already ordering soil online but I have to get the sprouts in something I'm afraid they will go to waste if I don't plant them now they are about 1/2inch long so my question is can I start them in the soil with the ferts already in it and then transplant to organic soil later or will that kill them?
As long as they are not autos you should be ok I use soil with nutes in it for my plants unless they are autos
Ok thank you I'm pretty sure there not autos just bag seed but what size pots should I use now or can I just start them in like a 32oz styrofoam cup and move them from there later?
I usually start with solo cups so you should be fine with those ones and then when it comes to transplanting I go into a 5 gal bucket
Sweet that's what I was gonna do started 4 seeds so hopefully get a female outta one of them thanks for your help!!
The important thing right now is to get them in some dirt. Pre-ferted soil is usually not a problem anyway.
I will for sure keep everyone updated I've been talking about starting my grow for awhile super excited to get started and you guys and gals are gonna be a big part of it! So thanks to everyone in advance as I am going to have lots if questions along the way!
When the soil drys out And until the water starts to drain from the bottom of u put drain holes which you should do if u didn't
Day 3... How far away should my light be? Using a 100w cfl and do I run them 18/6 or 24/7 for now? day 3
keep the CFL CLOSE brother! And fuck it 24-7 won't hurt em! Keep it cool in there tho* don't want the cfl to heat them
I've got the light about 6-8 inches from plants with a small fan blowing on them room tempature is staying rite around 77
If you had bag seed and planted is there a way to tell the difference between an auto and a regular plant when they start growing? Just asking because i have a big fat tiger stripped bag seed i have ready to go if my bad transplant dies.
