Best Vape for a blind person

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by higherfire, Aug 16, 2015.

  1. Hey y'all. I'm looking into getting a vaporizer for someone who has very severe Glaucoma; he is basically completely blind. I was hoping someone could help recommend some vaporizers that:
    - Have few parts
    - Easy to clean
    - Simple to use
    - Work efficiently
    - Some type of non-visual indicator that the bud is done being vaped
    - Moderately priced

  2. Arizer Air.

He can use his hands to easily pack the glass stem and since there is only one hole on the Arizer Air on top, he can easily put it in.

Buttons are easy to use and the charging port has a rubber stub that sticks out so it's easy to find.

Very easy to clean, just throw the stem in ISO and run it under warm water afterwards then dry.

One of the most efficient portable vapes at the price range

It's on sale on puffitup for like $160.

  3. Very interesting, if they can, they will have to be able to learn the taste of a fully cooked bowl of vaped ganja.
To be honest, it isnt quite difficult, and if you tell them when its done for a couple go arounds, they can touch it, smell it, and taste the vapor to try and get a good understanding of when it is done.
You should also have them a container for vaped weed so they can prepare edibles for themselves.
I think for a blind person the mflb or something similar, maybe the arizer brands would be good.
Mflb is quite something extraordinary for its material and structure. One of its kind that is decently well known. I think with practice it would be an excellent choice. The only thing is, it can burn or combust the ganja easily if the battery for vaporizing is held for too long. But guess what, if the vape is ruined, the company will send a completely new one for free.
Practice and try to help them through the first steps of any brand vape of course.

  4. Excellent suggestion for all you said also it has a sound indicator that can easily be turned on or off (on is great for a person with visual issues.) The sound indicator also works when the auto-shutoff occurs after 12 mins. Once they get used to it they can easily starrt it again to get the last few puffs if they want. It can also be used while charging. I would suggest getting an extra rechargeable battery as well.

It can be packed simply by feel by fingertip.

The only thing they would have to get used to is how many presses it takes to get to the temp they want. To get to highest is 5 presses.

It is a solid portable that is Canadian made so you know it is made by North American standards.

  5. I have an OpenVape that doesn't have any buttons and is only on when you are taking a puff. It uses reusable cartridges which you can fill with oil and it charges through a screw-on USB charger.
