extraction ideas

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by Billy dee, Aug 15, 2015.

  1. hi guys im new here, and wanted to share a few ideas as well as get some feedback that could hopefully help me perfect my methods. for the first few years I made edibles and tinctures I had no success whatsoever. Recently however ive made some canna oil and glycerin tinctures that were dope af (literally [IMG]). an idea I had however was to improve it by using intervals instead of cooking it the whole time straight. for example if a recipe calls for you to double boil 14 grams in your oil of choice for an hour, would it be better to cook it for thirty min, let it cool and then repeat or would this cause it to not get hot enough for long enough? also if you used this same method with 7g instead of 14 would you need to then cook it for half the time since your using half the product? any wisdom here is greatly appreciated guys.

  2. Just leave it in the oven.

  3. If you are new then follow the recipe exactly, step by step. Don't improvise or cut corners.

If you are experienced and think you have a better recipe, then post the better recipe so we can all try it. If it is a popular success then it will get "stickied" (pinned to the top of the forum) for posterity. :)
