    Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong.

There's nothing to this video apart from camera hijinks. For the first 'old heliocentric model' the camera stays fixed relative to the sun. In the subsequent animations, the sun moves relative to the camera. The sun travels through 'space' at 70,000kmh relative to what? If you're interested, read about 'frames of reference'. There's no 'correct' place to for the camera to be stationed at; there is no absolute 'frame of reference'.

Also 'vortex motion' is a concept from fluid dynamics that uses the standard (i.e. only) equations of 'rotational motion' and extends them to the domain of continuously dense fluids. Nothing really to do with astronomy.

Finally the planets' orbits are tilted at 60 degrees to the direction of the sun's travel, not 90 degrees as depicted in this video.

  4. Ya, found this Is the Solar System Really a Vortex?
