  1. Hi all i believe i may have a nutrient problem the tips and edges are turning yellow and bottom leaves are also yellow i am using a general hydro feed.
    any advice would be apretiated,

  2. have you first checked for root rot early signs won't be the typical stinky brown snot it will be puffy cream or tan colored algae at your netpot in-between your hydroton or growstones..also at the base of the roots by rt you're rockwool....it will also show on your airstones

  3. Not enough info.
    How old?
    What is the pH?
    What is the water temperature?
    What are the ppms?

It's obviously not getting the N that it would like. Either you're not feeding enough, or uptake is locked out for some reason or another. Most likely pH. Pythium will starve it too.

Need to know them numbers up there ^^^

  4. Hi PH is at 5.6 PPM is 1450 water temp 26 plant is at 4 week since transfering from soil not showing a lot of root from basket at the moment

  5. Why are you pumping water into the netpot? Stop that.
Those ppms are incredibly high! I'd dump 2/3 of that and fill back up with pHed water to the bottom of the netpot. Get the pH closer to 6.0 too. Then see how she looks in 24 hrs.

  6. Also, 26 is borderline too high. You want it down around 20c or 68f.

As crankz said, dump that solution.. It seems you have an imbalance of sorts locking out N or Fe perhaps.. Whenever you have deficiencies it's always easier to dump the whole solution and start over, rather than trying to amend for a single deficiency.. With experience you can play around with that but not just yet.. Those ppms are WAY too high for that stage of growth.. I never go above 900-1000ppm (.05 conversion) throughout an entire life cycle and pull 8-10 zips out of a single plant (strain dependent of course).

Transplanted from soil? You're adding extra stress to the plants by starting in soil.. You're risking shock, and slowing growth as the plant tries to adjust.. You'd be better off starting them in a 50/50 perlite/vermiculite mix, or simply cloning in a bubbler..
I also see some stippling on those leaves, have you checked the undersides VERY closely for spider mites? Also, what is your light cycle? I see what looks like some premature pistils..

  8. Thanks Crankz i will do as you said and dump this solution and also get the temp down.I was going for a top down DWC as per http://www.growweedeasy.com/high-yield-bubbleponic...
Answers for Dro Smoe i will given the plant allready in soil which is why unfortunately thats how it started life and will get the scope out to check for the spider mites, with regards to the lights i am runing 600 MH on 24 hr.
Hopefully i can get this under control and thanks for the advise.

  9. Yeah, forget all that top feed. You don't need it, and the pump is helping to heat the water.
Just fill it up to just under the bottom of the netpot. As long as you're pumping enough air in there, you'll be fine.

  10. your questions have been answered perfectly but I just want to reiterate what I think are the 2 main offenders.

*Ppm is way to high, bring down to 400-500.
*Temperature is too high, keep it below 21 degrees.

As crankz said, lose the circulation pump, it's accomplishing nothing but warming your nutrient solution.

Your roots look rotten so worth emptying the res and giving it a quick rinse out

  11. Thanks guys for the help on this much appretiated [IMG]

  12. Both crankz and goldgrower are right! Your way over ppm meaning your nute srenght is too much for that small of a plant stick to the 400 ppm range for awhile then ramp up to 1000 ish later when she drinks alot because she is a big ol bitch!
