Green House Grow Summer 2015

Discussion in 'Outdoor Grow Journals' started by inda, Aug 10, 2015.

  1. This is my Strawberry Blue, a couple days ago went out to check on the girls in the morning and found a whole branch broken off which given they are inside a green house was not expecting it. I was able to slap some tape on and all seems well. The black in the other split is tree seal which will go on the newer wound in a few days.

This last pic you can see how the shorter OG bushes never hit the 8' mark but then I was not really expecting them to given their confined root space.

  2. This is my Yumboldt 47, I was considering cutting this down when it got hit with mites hard but looks like it may pay off sticking it out. This plant has ended up getting gutted out for the most part but all the top side is healthy, I had to actually cut back some tips since they where on the plastic.

A shame to toss future buds but do not want to risk fungus taking even more from me. I have a few more to remove from the other girls but this one has had to have the most cut off.

  3. Northern Lights x Big Bud

Really wish I could have had more room for this Girl, she has dominated a good portion of the canopy. I could probably fill this whole greenhouse with this one plant and I maybe will next year.

  4. Tree seal ~brilliant! I was thinking about that myself the other day as I was splinting some limbs.

  5. This greenhouse was actually built for vegetable starts which go to farmers market, just used it for growing this year after spring and after I moved all the starts out. It had at one point almost 2k starts in it, I will be filling it with a winter crop of tomatoes and beans after the girls move out. I want to make a greenhouse specifically for doing my grows in the future, this one needs more vertical space. Even with scissor trusses my max height is 11 feet, my future one (when ever I can make it happen) with have 2 foot recessed floor with 10 foot stems walls and possibly a gable roof with steeper angles. This should give me a center peak of 16 feet to work with which would be a vast improvement over the current. I will probably also go with a shorter wider box configuration and pick up 6" on the bottom. Also will switch over to 12' on center boxes with about 400 gal capacity. For now this is all dreams right now until I can find a location to set up such a structure, but I will only have a single girl in this one next year using a 400 gal.

  6. How's it going?
