  3. Subbed. The top one looks almost like a clone.

  4. Rite on man. Yeah i made the mistake of putting it outside (with 3 other sprouts) way to early and they didnt make it. This one looked like i could save it so i gave it a shot. Its only growing 3 bladed leaves atm so if it doesnt develop soon i will stop fuckin with it.

  5. It'll probably bounce back fine. Speaking of 3 blades, here's a 11 blade, I had a few 12 blades but never took pics. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1439076922.120972.jpg

  10. What a coincidence... I used Dr Earth for my darling blueberry. And if if by 'roots og' you are referring to roots organics nutrients it's a double coincidence because that's what I use too!

I really like Dr Earth soil, and my little plant seemed to LOVE it, but I had planted my seed in a 14 inch pot and then proceeded to water it till every inch of that rich black soil chock full of organic matter was nice and wet all the way down to the bottom of the pot with no roots to drink it up, and ended up with a thriving fungus gnat village.

Then, just before I put her to flower, I took a cutting and popped it into my bubble bucket and before too long I had bunches of roots but wasn't prepared to make the switch to dwc for my clones (I plan to leave my mother in dirt), so I pulled out the remaining Dr Earth (that I had stored outside) and opened up the bag... omg!! You wouldn't believe the ARMIES of fungus gnats swarming around in there... it looked like the dirt itself was alive and roiling around! It was all I had though and I was broke so I watered it with a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water, spread it out in a wheelbarrow and rolled it out to bake in the sun for days, stirring it around every few hours. Then I repeated the process.

And even after all that when I nervously planted my rooted clone in it I then battled a HUGE fungus gnat problem endlessly... every morning I dumped hundreds of little gnat corpses down the drain (I put a little bit of sweet creamy tea in the bottom of a shallow cup and left it in there overnight, every night and every morning the entire surface of the tea, and even down in it, was thickly covered with drowned or drowning gnats.) And also, the soil now drains for shit! It takes 5 or 10 minutes for water I pour on top to make it's way down to the drainage holes on the bottom!

Yeah, I definitely need some recovery time and I also need to rethink and revamp my growing space! Fortunately I got almost a pound of sticky buds from my hermied blueberry to keep me entertained while I brainstorm a solution, even if it takes me a month to get a new set up going.

I noticed your replies and comments are always pretty brief and to the point, so sorry to talk your ear off here but I just couldn't get me to shut the hell up!

  11. PS.... and I'm still not finished gabbing!

I have one blueberry seed in the fridge that I will start over with, but after that I want to switch strains... this one is too indica dominant for me. I had originally wanted to get some purple haze seeds but when I went to order them I somehow saw a description of the blueberry strain, which seduced me with the line "long-lasting euphoric high", and I switched courts and passed on the purple haze, since I had limited funds and was very nervous since I had never bought seeds online before, so didn't want to drain my bank account and then end up with nothing to show for it. I sure do regret not getting them both while I was at it though because now I have to go through the whole ordering and waiting process all over again. Plus I pay extra for stealth shipping, even though I can drive 15 minutes and be in a place where it is legal for me to grow a plant or two. Very irritating.

Anyway, now I'm also interested in getting hold of some seeds for 'LSD', 'Lucid Dream' and 'Sour Diesel' after taking this fun little 'quiz', hahahaha: http://wweek.com/portland/article-21824-this-bud%E2%80%99s-for-you.html

  12. Nice purp.

  13. no worries bro anything goes here. I actually use roots original potting soil with dr earth all purpose fert mixed in the buckets. Glad you pulled some smoke from the herm... Seedy? Nanner infestation?

  14. You can call me 'bro' if you want but I'm not a guy. No seeds, but a bunch of pollen sacs appeared throughout the plant where none had been before, unless I had just missed them. I panicked and cut her down in the beginning of her 9th week (all but a few small buds which I will let go and see what happens.

  15. My apologies gal.
I tried to use dr earth soil outside. It stays way too wet and doesnt drain at all. I had mushrooms growing out everywhere. I ended up using it in my flower garden as top soil unfortunaly. @ 24 bucks a bag, i expected better.

  16. No apologies necessary, I think my username is a little misleading in that regard (and other regards too, since I am not a buddhist either.) Anyway, if you were calling me 'bro' when you thought I was a guy, shouldn't you be calling me 'sis' now? [IMG]

And yeah, my love affair with Dr Earth is over. I saw online somebody saying that dr earth was good if you wanted a gnat farm, and I have definitely had my fill of gnat farming!

  17. I could have just got a shit bag from home depot in a bind. I couldnt get to the shop at the time sis. Good luck with your grow

  18. God damn that's pricey. Just get some roots organic or fox farm soil and add your own stuff to it, it'll work better than any $24/bag soil.

  19. Exactly what he said

  20. Any updates/ pix?
