Hey guys, this is my second run on indoor growing. Actually still flowering at week 6 on my first grow of super lemon haze. But let's focus on the bub in this journal. My grow medium is fox farms happy frog. Currently growing under 1 23 watt 5500k cfl & 1 13 watt at 24/0. I will soon be adding T8 fluorescent tubes and a couple more cfls. I have the fox farms trio nutes; grow big, big bloom & tiger bloom. She is almost at week 3 from seed (18 days) I just recently started giving her a very weak amount of gb + bb every other watering and even weaker foliar feeding. She seems to be loving it so far. I started to LST her the other day, but I'm excited to get her transplanted to a bigger container soon and get a spiral LST done. So far, for my method, I put a rubber band around her cup to hold the strings in-which I tie her down with. On my slh journal, I can't seem to get any replies/feedback, so I am hoping for this grow I get a few people on board to follow along and offer any tips, suggestions and comments! In 2 days will make 4 weeks. Just a day or two ago I transplanted to a 4.5 gallon square container. Put a small layer of lava rock at the bottom to increase drainage. Idk if it was the best thing to do or not, but I mixed fox farms happy frog with some good looking soil from outside the house. I mixed it about 70/30 ffhf/soil. I filled the container up till about 2.5-3 inches to the top. Just enough to continue to lst with a cage over the top of it to hold the lights as close to the plant as possible without burning. I was giving her slight doses of grow big and big bloom but I'll hold off for a bit till she looks hungry due to putting her in more happy frog. She's growing pretty decent but slowed down for a while, I'm assuming mainly due to being root bound in a very small cup. Also, sorta lolipopped, removed the first few sets of leaves since they were slightly yellow due to nitrogen deficiency(which has been fixed) side branching, internodes, or secondary growth, whatever you wanna call it, is coming along but not as vigorously as I anticipated. More than likely due to only using a couple cfls at the moment. Along with lst, I have been debating on possibly incorporating super cropping and/or fimming. Any suggestions? Also any tips to doing either/or and when to start doing it? Hoping someone comes along with some type of feedback. I've accumulated a fair share of growing knowledge, but it's always nice to have a helping hand here and there from more experienced growers. So anyone on board to follow along and maybe give a brotha some words of advice?
Ignore the flowers lol the best thing I had for a container. Good size, square and made plenty of drain holes. Tapped a couple layers of trash bags around the outside due to it being slightly transparent
Well my baby is really starting to take off now. Lst is working wonderfully on her, def considering the small amount of lighting on her. Got to retie down every day, gonna start having to tie down side branches soon. Tomorrow (Tuesday the 18th) she will be one month old from seed. Also she smells amazing. I've never saw a plant smell so strongly at such an early age. Probably smells stronger than my SLH that is well into flowering(other than directly sniffing the buds) i am very excited to see how this girl turns out. High expectations for her

She's doing pretty good. Might not be able to tell a significant difference in the pictures but she's growing almost too fast to keep up with. Tons of tops already. Continuing along the spiral lst and super cropping taller branches to try and keep a nice and even canopy. Mannnn does she smell great already. Hopefully she's liking the flowers lol
I'm not really planning on doing a journal this time around. Maybe next time. I'm on my second grow. My first was bagseed and i ended up with two females, score! They're in about week 2 of flower. My wss is still in first week of veg. Your bubblicious looks really healthy. Awesome job. How far into veg is she?
Tbh idk the exact date she popped through the soil and all, but I started germinating her July 18th. No more than 3-4 days after that she popped through and took off. She doesn't look very big but she is extremely bushy. Gotta lollipop slightly every day or so just to make her manageable

This girl is absolutely loving being super cropped and lst'd. Growing like crazy. I can not even imagine how she would be growing with bigger lighting. I almost can't keep up with her under a few low wattage cfls. I have to tie down, re pinch and pick off tons of growth every other day just to make her manageable. I wanted to beg for a long time and grow a monster of a plant but the way it's going I think I'll have to put her in flowering in the next couple of weeks
Looking good! She's grown a lot since your last update. I let my first grow go way long in veg and now they're about 4 ft tall and full of bud spots. I'm afraid they'll out grow my closet and I'm only about 3 weeks into flower. Definitely doing lst this time around. I have two wss and one clone from my bagseed under 350 watts cfls 6500k. ( 8 40 watt and a 23 watt). I'm using FFOF and no nutes yet I'm starting those next week. I have fox farm trio so I'll use those. I've started lst on my clone since she's older and a little bigger than the others.
You'll love LST. I have FFHF soil and the trio. I'll prob put her in flower by the beginning of next week.
I'll probably cut down to 12/12 in a day or two. Maybe do the 36 hours of darkness before. Anyone know if that really has any effect?
I've heard mixed reviews on the 36 of dark. I did it with my first grow but i have nothing to compare to. She is HUGE compared to last update. Awesome job man.
