  1. I'm 3 weeks into flowering on my second grow and I have some kind of deficiency that I can't pinpoint from research. I'm hoping someone more experienced can help. uploadfromtaptalk1438648660164.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1438648675524.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1438648685919.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1438648696586.jpg

  2. Hello, what's your ph? I'm thinking magnesium or phosphorous deficiency that's turning into a nitrogen toxicity.

  3. Let me be a total noob real quick, I've never checked the PH because I'm using soil. I've been under the impression that PH isn't a big concern in soil.

  4. Still important to monitor, especially if your having an issue with a plant

  5. I'm actually at the hydro store right now picking one up. I'll report back with the results

  6. Wow, the PH meter is reading 7.4

  7. did you calibrate it first. Commonly overlooked mistake. If so, that's definitely gonna be the cause of any issues.

Get it sorted and give a few days to show signs of recovery

  10. The package says it self calibrates to 7

  11. May be accurate, but should get some calibration solution anyway

  12. I'll have to do some shopping. I just mixed up a solution of mutes and added ph down and got it to 4.8 to bring down the PH of the soil. Is that too much?

I would have just ph'ed the water your using, I wouldn't add any nutes.
You need to get you soil under control. Just add water till you see some recovery. Ph your water with the scale I sent you.

  14. Ah, I guess that would make sense. I just added a 1/4 dose because they didn't get any nutes on the last 2 waterings.

  15. I will for sure, I haven't watered yet so I can dump it. Would you ph it to the lvl it should be or lower to bring the soil down?

    Are they in flower?
Lo ok there in flower, but I still wouldn't add nute because you still need to stabilize the pH

You need to stabilize it....meaning bring it to where it should be.

Thats ok, just get that ph stabilized. If you don't, you won't have much of a crop.

If your ph is high or low especially in flower, your buds will start to come out deformed and not flowering, you will have some pistils and these weird long deformed cola structures.
