result of my first heavy defoliated bluedream

    Some told me defoliation reduce yield and stun grow, some told me it increase bud size.
    Did my experiment and
    This result of my 1st heavy defoliated 2ft tall bluedream. Using 2gallon pot, grow in soil and 300w led budmaster IIAs I got nothing to compare with, will appreciate you guys tell me what do you think?

    I am anticipating the next blue dream (defoliated even more during flowering ) having same age as this one but with fatter buds and is due to harvest in a few day time.

    yes, I just harvested it. I harvested some few day back . So it is 2/3 fresh and 1/3 was dried for 3 days. Will weigh again when they are all dry

    Idk my blue dreams were way bigger but I used a 600w hps and 7gal pots...looks good though

    Ima be happy with anything over a ounce now since ive had quite a bit of wettish bud because got no loupe and confused on days. all the signs said that for what lights and food it was given, it will do lol. next round im serious.

    haha that makes more sense, I was thinking there is no way in hell that is 310 grams

    if weighed wet take off 75% will be close to dry weight so i reckon close to 2 zips once dry and removed from stems

    nice man I have one I trimmed a little also and one I didn't cut at all she's Hella bushy. Think the bottom branches might catch up to my top without training haha. so I will be able to see the difference in yield. First grow so I'm experimenting too. Next will try some training.

    I'm not sure, I have never weighed fresh bud before. It looks more than an oz though, maybe 1.5oz at a guess

    I can't wait to harvest this
    She is defoliated the most almost all fan leaves are gone.

    And She is given the best TLC comapre to the rest of the plant

    you trim abit during flowering or during veg? I only trim my plant after at least 2 weeks flower.
    I never try trimming during veg
    Do you have a journal. Will love to see the differences too.

    Just harvested bluedream one. This one is the one that is most heavily defoliated among the rest of the plant. Almost bare at 4th week of flowering.
    And surprisingly it yield the highest.


    A slightly taller than 12" plant, growing with 300w led in soil.
