I can count how many times I have smoked on two hands, so I'm pretty new. My question is, how low is the average tolerance of a new smoker? How low/high is your tolerance? The stuff I'm using right now I get a really great high off of 0.05g, and anything more than like 0.08g gets me jittery and a little paranoid for the first hour or so of the high. I smoked like .15g once, but I was so high it led to a really paranoid/unpleasant high. Is this a normal tolerance level for a new smoker? Not that I'm really complaining...this eighth will last me ages. [IMG]

TL;DR: Is a low tolerance, such as only needing to smoke 0.05g, normal?

  2. I only get considerably high after 4 or 5 kingsizes...

  3. When I was new to smoking back when I was 15-16 years old I had like no tolerance at all and didn't start to build one up until I was almost 18 and toking everyday. I'll be turning 23 in a week and now my tolerance is way beyond what it was back in those days after years of daily toking. I miss it, but I also love being able to function like a normal person after a few bowls.

  4. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with being a lightweight. ;) When I first started, it didn't take much to get me comfortably high, .05g did the trick just fine. If you live an active lifestyle and have a high metabolism, or like you said, brand new to smoking, you'll be more sensitive to the effects of MMJ. But who says thats a bad thing? You save on weed and can stretch your "smoke-per-dollar" out farther than most!

But all good things must come to an end, as my tolerance developed overtime just like everybody else. And that is determined by how much and how often you light up. Id say my extreme sensitivity to pot lasted about a year and a half before I noticed needing to take additional hits to achieve the same high. So enjoy it while it lasts!

So to answer your question, yes that is a reasonable tolerance. aha

  5. Well, if you're relatively new to smoking it would make sense that you'd be a lightweight. Nothing to be ashamed about, people build up tolerance differently.

  6. ya for sure it is. new smokers of today are not the new smokers of 15 years ago. ganja is so goddam potent these days. what you are describing is exactly what happens when new people hit some medical top shelf ganja. it will KYTFO fo sho!

i smoke my pops out every now and again. he hits my pen vape and imbibe wax. he needs the smallest, tiniest of hits too. to much and he says it makes him feel very uncomfortable. so, easy does it.

just go easy with it. the only real rule as far as ganja is concerned? have fun. thats it. no more and no less. [IMG]
