Longest Youve Been Without Weed?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by Black_Chamber, Aug 2, 2015.

  1. since you've started smoking, what's the longest you've been without it?

I quit for about a year once, but I always go back to it......

  2. Maybe a week. Can't really say, I have been toking daily for 6+ years.

  3. Twelve years!

  4. 35 years. Glad I did too, no regrets.

  5. I only started two years ago but since then I've been dry for eight months at a time twice. I just can't justify keeping it in my system for long periods; I am the sole provider for five people and can't risk losing my career if I should happen to trip and fall at work.

  6. 6 months... Didn't even miss it much...

  7. About 20 years. I've been a daily tolerate for the last 11 months, though.

  8. Three years,
Japan doesn't fuck with the whole marihuana thing...

  9. 8 months. After the first few days/weeks it isn't all that bad. It's not addicting so once you just go about your daily routine it's the last thing on my mind.

I'm taking a break for an undecided amount of time. I have other things I need to do right now and it's just a waste of time and money , right now.

I also hate how it's legal in a few states but it's still illegal in the rest of the US. I kind of just want to quit until it's legal in my state. That will take many , many years , but in the end it's worth it. I have too much going for me right now and if something happened because I had some plants on me , I'd hate myself. It's not the end of the world and it's going to be legal in all 50 states in my lifetime.

  10. About six months. I'm not going to pretend there weren't times that I really wanted to get some smoke in my lungs, but it wasn't the end of the world. Plus, my state legalized, and I knew there was a concrete end date of my break where I could just walk into a store and get what I wanted, hopefully forevermore.

I probably smoke less at a time than I used to - there's no worries about going dry again unless I just am so fucking broke I can't afford some weed. So I don't feel the need to go crazy every time, a nice relaxed evening is usually good enough.

  11. 2 months in almost 6 years

  12. maybe 2 days at most ever since I have started smoking every day.

  13. Three months, just picked it back up again last week. Stopped to focus fully on my last few months of university. To me, weed always should come second to important things. There will always be another bag of green around the corner - won't necessarily be another degree, job, family!

Still. good to be back tokin' !!! [IMG]

  14. 2 days since I smoke daily I think.

  15. a couple days in the 80's i think..

  16. 3 effing weeks so far, out of the past decade. By the time I come off my t-break my harvest (Liberty Haze) will be dried and cured and I will have a new job in the carpenter's union.

Cool thing is, my dreams are really wild and vivid. I think my brain just misses being high and compensates for it through my dreams.

  17. a month...... let me tell u, most fuckin boring month ever. i just felt so dam bored.

  18. 5 months of hell. I got my weed card now waddup
