Got this piece awhile back and I can't seem to unstick the tube connected to the bowl, trying to scrape the res does anyone know any tips lol it can be taken apart it just won't now

  2. a hammer or a saw

  3. worked hahaha

  4. Try cleaning the inside of the stem with alcohol using a q-tip or if you can, soak the whole pipe in alcohol with a teaspoon of salt in it overnight. It should loosen it up, then use a bit of force to unscrew it. Neeski

  5. Don't do this, it will ruin the wood!

  6. wood pipes are usually made of is very firm and a little exposure to alcohol, will not harm it. My tune in has been cleaned with 96% ethanol and 4% gasoline (from pharmacy) and works like a charm still.

  7. wood pipes will absorb any solvent...soaking the pipe in alcohol will ruin it...using gasoline on your wood pipe will poison you if ever used again.

heat the joint with a hair dryer to soften the 'resin' holding it in place, pull apart, use those good old fashioned wire pipe cleaners, scrape the bowl, toss the 'crap' away when done, reassemble and use the pipe...if that won't do, then buy a new clean pipe.
